Aralyn

Aralyn moved down the aisles, sighing softly. She needed a new friend or two at home. Something for her, or maybe something for Nadeem. She needed something these days. Something to keep her interested. She missed Nadeem. Maybe a little friend would keep her entertained.

Thor & Crimson

When the lady behind the counter saw the woman walk into the pound, she offered her a smile and told her that she was free to look around as she saw fit. Thor, a husky mix sat in the back of his cage, he had been an abuse case before coming here. It had taken him some time to physically heal from the abuse that he had been through. Though, he had not grown excessively aggressive or shy due to this. He was only a little wary of strangers but would not avoid them. So when he heard the woman walking down the aisle he approached the kennel door. No sound was made as he wagged his tail gently as the woman either walked by or stopped.

Crimson was in the pen with Thor. She was an overly friendly red merle Australian Shepherd. At first she was outside the pen in the run attached to it when the woman approached. But, hearing all of the dogs barking inside she was sure someone had to be there to see them. She hurried in through the door and saw the woman near the pen that held her and the husky male. She barked merrily as she tried to get the woman’s attention.

She stopped every now and again at cages, reading the papers and documents on the doors. Nothing yet had jumped out at her... She sighed softly. Maybe this was a bad idea. She hadn't seen Nadeem in quite some time. Nor had she seen her... "Father". She missed both Ben and Nadeem terribly. Maybe this would be a bridge to apologize to them for her recent behavior. She paused at Thor and Crimson's kennel and began reading over their paper work. As with every kennel she had stopped at, she took out a treat. These two were getting pieces of bacon that she had left. Hm... She murmured softly to herself. She began reading a bit further as an idea began to form in her head. She liked where this was going, and she took the sheets off the kennel and headed back into the office. I would like to take these two, please. She told the woman at the counter.

Thor & Crimson

Thor saw the woman stop at the kennel where he stood. His tail wagged gently as he noticed that she had food in her hand and held it out to him. He gently took the treat from her and continued to wag his tail in a calm manner. His bi-colored eyes looked to the red merle canine who had also approached only momentarily before they returned to the woman who had brought him treats.

Crimson was a bundle of excitement as she stood at the chain link door that separated herself and the other canine from the outside world. When the woman produced food she wiggled even more, seating herself as she pranced her front paws before gently taking the treat. She had been trained at her former home to be a good pet, but no one here really knew that since she had been dropped with no information.

The lady behind the counter smiled as the woman filled her in on her intention to adopt the two and she nodded, giving her the appropriate papers to fill out and once she received them back she opened the door to slip leashes on both dogs and handed them to the woman with a friendly smile.
