*Humans*

A large truck pulls up in the back of the pound, and two men get out and open the back door of the truck. They carefully unlock the cage in the vehicle, and shove the noose-pull in and get the loop around Tornado's neck before the young wolf has a chance to get out or fight back. Then they open the cage door wider, and pull the wolf out, and lead him (struggling or not) to a large cage. The noose it lifted off him, and the door slammed shut and pad-locked. The ground is cement, and their is a dog house and water in the corner. Cages boarder yours, but there aren't many dogs.

The two men talk to each other, glancing and pointing at Tornado every once in a while. Then they leave.

Tornado

Starving and suddenly terrified at being alone, Tornado lets forth a heartbreaking howl. The ragged fur clutching to his thin sides has no sheen to it. His is very thin. But the young wolf continues to howl and tell the world of his sorrow and loneliness.

*Humans*

After some time, three new humans arrive, and walk over to your cage, led by one of the volunteers of the dog pound. They talk to each other, glancing at Tornado now and then. Their voices are positive sounding, even hopeful. But their is a hint a concern in them. No anger can be detected. After talking for several minutes, the humans enter the cage, and quickly close it again. One human holds a noose-pole. A different one crouches down and speaks softly to you. They are cautious to give you space.

Tornado

His ears come flat against his maw, and his lip writhes back to bear gleaming white fangs. His mustard colored eyes are fixed on the noose-pole, and he rumbles his warning slightly while backing up as far as he could against to the fence.

*Humans*

The humans talk softly to him still, trying to get his attention away from the noose pole.

Tornado

His eyes dart from human to the pole, but finally come to rest on the human close to him. Slowly, his rumbling stops. His tongue flicks out, curling back to lick his fangs; a clear display that he was frightened and didn't want a fight.

*Humans*

The humans hesitate, then decide to back off. They make more human noises to each other, then walk out of the pen, closing the door.

After some time, they return. The noose-pole is not with them. But in replace of it is a dart gun. They aim and shoot... a dart hits you in the shoulder, and they wait for the drug to take affect.

Tornado

He springs over to the other side of the kennel with a yelp when the dart hits him, though it hardly hurt. Badly frightened, Tornado crouches down against the doghouse, looking up at the humans with hurtful eyes, wondering what he ever did to deserve such torture! He wanted to see his mother again, his sister, and his father. He wanted to be free!

Tornado attempts to leap up on the doghouse to try and jump the fence, but finds his legs incredibly weak, and he slides to the floor. The yearling growls in frustration and stands up. Swaying slightly, his legs buckle and he falls. Tornado tries in vain to get up again, but slowly his body becomes paralyzed, and finally, he can't even register what his dull eyes see.

*Humans*

The humans watch him without much expression. Once he is down, they come in and lift his body into a type of blanket which they use to carry him back to a truck. Then they drive off to the Wolf Center.
