Ready Set Go

The brown collie followed the man rather unwillingly her tail tucked. She then looked at him as he left her in a kennel with water.She curled up and yawned

The red-haired woman entered the pound with an albino kookaburra sitting obediently on her shoulder. She walked up and down the aisles, looking at each dog very carefully. She stopped when she saw Ready Set Go. Kneeling down, she held her hand out to the canine. "Good girl..." She said softly.

Ready lifted her head from her lieing down posture and looked at the women.Then she slowly got up.Tail remaind tucked as she approached the gate.She sniffed the girls hand and licked it.


Debbie Wilcox; King

Debbie smiled at the dog. "eady Set Go, eh?" She said as she looked at the papers. "I think I'll bring you home with me." She stood up and looked for a volunteer or employee.

King looked down at Ready, although his eyesight was very poor. "Looks like you get a home now." He said loudly, suggesting that he had bad hearing as well.

Ready listened and then jumped up on the gate eager to get out of here.she wasn't one to talk much either atleast not to animals

Soon, a volunteer approached Debbie. "Can I help you?" The young woman asked. Debbie nodded. "I'm interested in this dog. I'd like to adopt her." She replied. The volunteer gave her a form to fill out. Once that was done, Debbie turned in the papers and the volunteer opened the gate.

Debbie knelt down, a leash in hand.

REady watched and then ran out right into debbie's arms.her tial now wagging and she lapped at her face.
