The woman walked into the building, her dog, Kaede at her heals. The woman gave a forced smile, and turned into the desk. When the woman, and the cleark were done, she gave Kaede a hug, tears streaming out of her eyes. Kaeade was led away by the cleark, looking at her mistress with worried orbs. She hung her head low, and followed the cleark to a cage, and she was put in it. She lay down, he heart full of sadness.

Aralyn saw the new dog and bent down crooning to her in a soft cooing voice "There there now baby. Im sure someone will come get you and take you to a new home." Aralyn looked up and wrote on the paper on the gate Reserved Aralyn would take the female home with her and Malon her german shephered.

Kaede looked at her with sad eyes, sat up, and licked the girls fingers, her tail thumping against the ground a couple of times.

She smiled faintly and pet the female a few more times before opening the cage and walking in kneeling in front of the female once more "Baby I will take you home as soon as I get off work ok?"

Her face was covered with fresh bruises and she knew the dog would be able to pick up the smell of mens cologne on her. Her hand shook slightly as she remembered the night before but she willed it away. He wouldnt come to hurt her again. Hopefully.

Kaede sneezed at the strong sent, snd licked her face.

Time seemed to pass slowly but finally it was 5 o clock and time to go home. Aralyn walked to the back room and grabbed a special leash. It was black and had silver flames crawling up it making Aralyn smile. She had always loved the gothic touch and thought maybe she would buy Kaede a spiked collar. Or one to match the leash. "Come on baby lets go home." She knealt down and put the leash on the dog and walked outside heading home.

Kaede reluctantly left her cage, looking back,
