Hurricane Leo

Name: Hurricane Leo
Gender: Male
Breed: American Shorthair Cat
Age: 5 weeks
Description: Black, with a hurricane/tornado symbol on his forehead. He is a raging demon, claws are sharp, and he is a good climber. Fierce in fighting. He would be a good pet if you could train him.
A bit of History: His mother was abused and kept in a cage very small. Uncomfortable, they always curled. She only had on meal a day: 5 pieces of dry cat food. She was always bred and then forgotton, he had 5 other brothers & sisters. They were all ragged, skinny, dangerously skinny, and had a disease. He has a lung shortage; he cant breathe easily and spits up this mucus like stuff from his chest every hour. When he was 2 weeks old his mother died of all this abuse. It was too much. So the kittens were adopted out. When looked at, the man was kind and lifted them out of the cage gently. Since the peeps were around. After, they were flung roughly into the cage again, mewing in pain.
Finally, he was being looked at. His sister was adopted, the last besides him. The hand was coming to him but he spat, bit the man, and ran. Now he wanders, looking for something that might never come.

A tiny little black kitten sat in his cage. Mewing pitifully, a family approached him. Immediately the young boy stuck his hand through the bars. He hissed and spat, racing with a bushy tail. The boy laughed but cried out when he was bitten roughly on the hand. His parents dragged him away.
Leo stopped and lounged in a corner. Cats and kittens meowd in the Cat Adoption Room. He awaited someone to approach.

Shannon

Shannon, an owner of two canines, a wolf and hybrid, entered the adoption place. Her eyes scanned the area as she looked into each cage. She wasn't the biggest cat-lover, but she thought she would be able to see if she could handle one or two. Spotting the lone cat in one of the cages, she proceeded forward to it, and she played her fingertips on the bars, wanting to see the cats reaction. If the cat make any attemtps to bite or claw her, she would teach it a lesson. No animal got away with something like that with her.

Hurricane Leo

Leo saw the newcomer and hissed. Fur bushed to outgrow to see if she'd back away. When she didn't he raced to the bars and slammed his weight at the cage. He tried biting and clawing and leapt away.

Shannon

Shannon pulled back her hand immedietly, and then slammed it on the cage, seeing if she could scare the cat. She knew how to tend to animals. A cat wouldn't overpower her, of course.

Leo

He screeched as the contact of the hand rattled his cage. He cowered in the corner, feelning likehe was back where he was born. He went quiet and staredat his with a bushy tail, wide firghtened eyes, curled as tight as he could away from Shannon.

Shannon

Shannon ignored the sounds made by the cat as she slowly undid the latch on the cage door. Then, quietly but swiftly opening it, she waited to see Leo's reaction. Depensing on what he did this time would tell whether she would use cloth or her hands to try and lift him. It was important to know these things, when dealing with an animal.

Leo

Leo hissed but in a frightened way. The cloth spooked him, and he turned with an even tighter curl on his bod. He was mewing softly and sadly now, as if she was taking him to death.

Shannon

Shannon spoke softly now, reaching to the cat as she mewed. She would try to take her out of the cage before thinking about anything else. But the real thing she needed to know was where she would keep the cat if she even managed to carry her around. Maybe she could take her to the Ranch, or someplace. Anywhere but here, for sure. This place was like a prison for animals.

Leo

Shudders and tries to get away from the "deadly' hand reaching to take him away. He "MrEOW"s angrily, and leaps to the exit. He hops out and sits upon the examination table. But a tiny mouse toy cxatches his attention. He forgets shannon is there, making him easy to grab.

Shannon

Shannon almost hopped slightly when the cat escaped, but she twirled around instead. She immedietly noticed her quick chance to grab Leo, and so she dove for him, the cloth between her hands and the cat's fur as she tried to wrap them around him before he could have much time to react.
