Silence in death

The young wolf mix wanders around the outside of the building, it is pitch black but he barley shows up against the snow. His grey.black coat mixing with the nights darkness. He was here to seek warmth. He crept near the door, seeing no lights on, he turned and found a box overturned round the back, he crwaled in and settled down.

*Dogs*

A dog in a kennel nearest to the box stood up suddenly and gave out a bellowing bark. Soon, many other dogs were barking and clamoring in excitement. Luckily for Silence in Death, no humans were at the shelter this time of night. But come early morning, they'd be around.

A large tom cat spotted the young hybrid. His back was arched slightly, but he spoke in a controlled voice, "Did the humans dump you off here?" he was use to seeing that happen. Many were left at the door of the pound when the owners didn't care to do anymore about their pets.

Silence in death

He sook his head solemly. He had been born in captivity and sent away with no survival skills, he lived from scrounging food from the dump.

'No, i am wild. But i have no pack or mate.'

*Dogs & Cat*

He relaxed a bit more once he saw that Silence apparently didn't intend to kill him. "That doesn't seem too wild to me." he pointed out lightly, "But it is far more wild than these guys." the feline nodded to the kennels of barking and anxious dogs. "If you are still here by daybreak, expect to join the 'team'." the tom flicked his tail a bit, seeing what this creature's response would be. "Of course... if you like humans, I could give you a few pointers." he offered and sat back on his haunches.

Silence in death

Brute had never quite mastered the art of noticing sarcasm, he ignored the cats harsh comments of none wildness. He watched as a few feeble rays of light began to creep over the land.
" i don't intend on staying, humans hate wolves, i hate humans.' A menacing growl escaped him as he left the box and scarpered into what shadows reamined.
