*Humans*

Halloween night was fun and spirited for most; but some rotten-hearted individuals turned the festivities into nightmarish crimes of vandal and torture. Four such youths targeted the Dog Pound as a prime spot to cause such cruel acts.

Bolt and wire cutters were used to open the kennel and office doors; as by this time in the night, the place was locked and empty of workers. Black cats were sought out and penned in a cage with a viscious dog. Other happless cats and dogs were bludgend and attacked without remorse by the 'pranksters'. One dog, one of the many hybrids in the pound, began to howl out in terror and alarm as one of the teens came for his kennel.

Midnight Sky

The cocoa hued hybrid padded around softly. She wondered what was going on. She saw cats being trapped in pens with dogs and humans hurting cats, dogs and hybrids. "Humans!" Midnight thought. She bared her teeth and growled. She never liked humans and she was ready to attack.

*Humans*

One human wheeled around, hearing the growl. Having bolt cutters in hand, he rushed and swung them at her head...

Ghost*White Flame

Ghost sauntered in as she heard the crys for help, her orbs scanned about looking at what was going on, it had gone to far for her. At first slowly she troted forth, but when the human went for the dove, she ran fast and lept at him from behind, fangs bared aiming to get his neck, claws trying to enter his back.

White Flame was also here, he saw what was happening to Midnight Sky, but he knew Ghost would help her, he instead walked up to a human that was comeing towards the hybrids cage, he jumped infront of the dooor, hackles raised he emitted a deep growl from his throat, fangs bared, and banner held high.

Midnight Sky

Midnight got hit with the bolt cutters. She yelped. That was enough. "Ghost! No! Don't kill the human!" she yelled. "Let go and chase them!"

*Humans & Hybrid*

The human fell forward harshly as Ghost sprung on him. A harsh cry was given when her fangs began to go around his neck, and he struggled to throw her off.

The other teen haulted when White Flame appeared infront of him, but only for a moment. Raising his dangerous weapon, he swung it down at the canid. The hybrid was terrified, with past experiences given him good reasons to cower against the back of his cage. "Watch out!" he woofed sharply to White Flame.

The others were still inside the shelter and didn't know what was going on outside.

Midnight Sky

Midnight Sky barked back reassurance. She also stopped in front of the teen. Midnight raised her hackles and snarled, stepping forward, still snarling. Saliva dripped from her mouth, making herself look rabid.

Ghost*White Flame

Ghost ignored what Sky barked at her, she consited on biting down harder and harder, movieng sightly as the human strugled beneath her. Claws were moved so that they dug into the humans back, then while she hung onto his neck, Ghost began to wildly claw at the humans back, trying to get deep and ripe him up.

White Flame ducked out of the way of the tool used to kill things, or so he thought thats what it was used for. As he was lowered to the ground, he moved in a low leap planning to tackle the humans legs, knocking him down.

Midnight Sky

Femme looked at Ghost who was trying to kill the human. She switched her attention back to the other teen and got closer. She snarled threatiningly and leapt up, trying to grab his arm and pull him down...

*Humans & Dogs*

Ghost's human was killed soon enough with a bite to the neck.

The man in the hybrid's cage fell down as his legs were attacked. He brought his weapon up to swing at the wolf, but his arm was suddenly seized by the hybrid. Snarling a brutal sound, the wolf-dog snapped repeatedly at the hand until it was badly damaged. He normally didn't attack humans because horrible consiquences followed; but this time, the hand had just gotten too close to him.

The one Midnight Sky attacked fell down with a huff, loosing his weapon. He struggled to stand while he punched at her.

Midnight Sky

Midnight Sky growled and bit down on the man's arm that punched her. She had a firm hold on his arm. She didn't even break the skin. She gave him a firm warning. It said 'If you choose to fight, face death.'
