Grey and white wolfess pads in. She was a pure wolf. Orbs watch for humans. When she is sure there are no humans at the moment she pads by the cages. Perhaps their would be a pup that she could perhaps free and take care of. She looks in every cage very alert.

Slips in and crouches low beside Winter Night. He read her thoughts and began to chew at the metal bars his ivories driving into them.

She watches him. She watched for humans. She hated them. "Who are you? I am Winters Night."

*I am White Fang nice to meet you Winters Night!* He too hated humans! He nudged the latch that kept the cage door closed up with his mug.

She wonders what he is trying to do. She nods when he answers her. "What are you trying to do?" She asks. She looks down the rows of cages still hoping to see a pup.

Let them out! I promised 1 I would be back to let her out!** He nudged the latch again.

+ She lifted her head from the bed, and trotted forward, slender form landed lightly on the concrete before the door +
~White Fang.. is that you? Who are you with?~
+ She blinked into the darkness...and saw WN...her tail twitched and she growled softly +

The two collies who had seen White Fang before, gave a yip. They were a few cages down from Nikka. The cage beside them that had housed the old golden retriever was now empty.

A few cages away from those pups housed three other pups, a quarter wolf each.

This is Winter's Night she is here to help, I think! He smiles at the pup and wonders where the retriever was!!

She nods and pads over to the other cage with three pups. She begins biting the lock.

Continues chewing the lock and lifting the latch.

Finally the lock falls. She starts pushing up the latch.

The latch is stuck tight, but eventually is moved by your efforts, and the door swings inward. The pups tilt their heads this way and that in curiosity. They are timid though, and one of them cowers in fear. None speak up.

She smiles at the 3 pups. "There is no need to be afraid. I wont hurt you. Do you need a mother because if you do I can be it. I dont live in a pack yet though." She approaches them.

They whimper slightly, but the boldest pup, a female, extends her snout towards the wolfess, and her little tail thumps against the hard concrete floor. "We need a mommy." she pipes up, and the others look at Winters Night hopefully.

She smiles warmly. "Ok I’ll be your mother. She nuzzles the female. What are your names?" She says. She looks over to White fang wondering if he needed help. She looked back to the pups.

Soon the lock broke and he nudges the latch with his nose.

A cat looks down from a ledge that she crept into the shelter on and hisses at the dogs and wolves and laughs slightly. "You’ll break your teeth if you do that to much. You mustn’t be to smart either because I think a human is coming." The cat didn’t dare go down their because she knew the dogs would chase her.

*Im smarter then you because if you were smart you would run! *HE jumps up snapping his ivories at the cat!

She hisses at the foolish wolf, or so she thought, and leaped to a higher ledge where he couldn’t reach. She smirks. "Fool."

*Scaredy CAT!!! Why dont you come down here and say it to my teeth?!* He smirks. *Oh yea I forgot your afraid! A SCAREDY CAT!!**

It yawns. "I am smart enough to know you are bigger then me so refrain from scared. That expression is so old anyway." it laughs.

*Well I cant help it if that's what you are!* He goes back to nudging the latch.

You wont open it that way for a while. Cat leaps on top of the fence and climbs down careful. She puts her paw on the latch and fully extends her claws. She pulls up the latch with ease and darts back up to the ledge. "Cats may be small but we can get out of tight spots and our claws can do damage. You try falling four stories and land on your feet." She says saying stuff of how cats our important.

You try bringing down an moose or an animal 10 times your size! Cats may be important but so are wolves! I dont want to argue about this but thanks anyways!* He grins.
