The enchanting femme pads around and inhales deeply the scent of the dogs catching a scent of humans. She sits in front of a rather large cage and stares in, enchanting amber orbs staring in. She smiles slyly and paces in front of the cage, slowly with a seductive gleam in her orbs.
There is the ever-common explosion of barks and growls to greet a wolf. The large cage you sit before houses two dogs. One is much larger than you, a dark gray mutt of uncertain breed. There is a wolfish appearance to him, but with an unusually long muzzle. The other one is smaller than you, but just barely. He is lighter in color, and has a more blunt muzzle. Neither of them bark, snarl, or utter a single noise. They stare back at the wolf, very much enchanted by her.
The she-wolf studies them a bit longer then paces in front thinking, as she always does. She moves forward to other cages and snarls menacingly at each dog to shut their yaps and then goes back to the other cage she sat at before. A short greeting bark is emitted. She'd never seen and breeds of this mixed kind.
They both give a quick bark in greetance as well, and the smaller of the two stands up and waves his tail. The other large one carries a solemn look, and stays sitting, also studying the wolfess.
"What brings you around here? It's very dangerous, especially for wolves." his voice was calm, and had no threatening tone.
She smiles, *Oh, no reason. Or maybe just the thrill of a chase.* she says and looks to the human shelter. *What are your names?* she asks, turning back. *I am Summer Sun, Alpha Femme of White River Mountain Range. Danger, is my mate,* *if you wanted to know* she added. She stiffens and something in her stomach kicks, she was to have pups and soon they would be born. She didn't like to be cooped up though, it wasn't her nature so she wandered but not for to long.
The smaller dog replies first, "My name is Snowball, or that's what the humans call me." Then the other replies, "It's nice to meet you, Summer Sun. I'm Turret, also named by the humans. Be watchful of a large mongrel that patrols the area freely; he's killed a few wolves a dogs around here." Then came to his keen nose the information that the she-wolf had pups. Yet he didn't say anything about it.
She nods, *I see. I doubt he will cause much harm.* she says and smiles. *My mate is always around and about. He has helped me many times.* Then she looks around, he could be here now. He was always somewhere near. *Have you been in this cage your whole life?* she asks.
Snowball replies first, "I was here when I was born, but human took me a few months later. I lived with them for a year, then I was brought back here. I've been in these kennels for a year now." Then the other one speaks, "I was born in the wild, and lived near the humans for three years while I roamed around in a small pack of other dogs. I was captured two years ago, and have been here since."
She nods. *You must really miss being free* she says to Turret *...and you've never really had the feeling of being free have you, Snowball? Is there something I could do for both of you? I really wish to help.* she says. She could never stand being cooped up 24x7 like this.
Turret was hopeful to the thought of being free, but he didn't show it as much as Snowball did. Yet he did comment, "We'd be very grateful..." he paused in thought, "The humans take some of us on walks once a week, usually in mid-morning. I believe they will come tomorrow to walk Snowball... maybe you can come then and distract the human while the kennel door is open?"
Snowball's tail waves happily at the thought.
She smiles, *I will be glad to distract tem. I am sure Danger will want to take part in this to.* she says happily and her tail wags. She was glad to help them. Then she walks away from the cage and after she's a safe distance away, she throws her head back and release a long, high pitched howl to Danger. It was telling him to come quickly to the pound. Then she walks back to the cage. *If he comes, we shall stay a little far off through the night and wait.*
Turret nods, "Thank you very much." Snowball roams to the back of the cage, sniffing a half empty bowl of food. Turret turns his head back and glances at the smaller dog, "Let's leave the food for Summer Sun." Snowball lifts his head, "You're right." He wasn't hungry anyway, and wondered over to a doghouse and crawled in to sleep. Turret curled up beside the doghouse to sleep; his fur was enough to keep himself warm through a cold night.
On the 15, the humans will come around to take Snowball on a walk.
She nods and crawls under some thick bushes to wait.
A few hour after daybreak, a human comes by. She has a leash in one hand, and a key in the other. The human unlocks the cage, and begins to slip inside to but the leash on Snowball...
She lunges from the bushes and locks her jaw on the human’s leg. She tries to pull the human away and out of the cage. Then she lets go and lunges for the other leg. She grabs it and twists her head over and over again. She glances into the cage, seeing if they had left yet.
The human stumbles back from the first attack, then falls when the wolfess gets his other leg.
Snowball flashes out first, followed by Turret. They both dart into the safety of the bushes, and waited for Summer Sun.
He bolts out of the bushes after hearing his mates call. He grabs a hold of the human and yanks, putting all his neck muscle to work. He jumps up to bite the humans arm and manages to injure the wrist. He backs up and charges again, maybe he'd knock it over. he hits head on and he throws his body wait against the back of the human’s knees and lower legs. He then bite its ankle one last time and disappears into the bushes, not to far from Snowball and Turret. He looks at Summer, hoping she'd get outta there quick.
She looks at the human and aim one last attack. She grabs the human’s arm and yanks hard. She squeezes the arm tight and yanks a few more times. Then she grabs the shoulder. She bites down the bolts away into the bushes next to Danger, Snowball, and Turret, her amber orbs peering out. *Lets go* she says quietly and backs out and runs to White River Mountain Range. She hoped Turret and Snowball came, but then realized she shouldn't expect them to, they might want to go back to their old homes, or at least ones they knew of.
Knowing what happened last time the humans caught them, they followed after the wolves in escape.
