Oh ho, and what have we here. The black brujo sauntered up to the temple with wide eyes as he looked around. Moving inward as if a simple spectator at a museum. There were many, he must say it was impressive for the good guys to be well luxurized. And who was leading this? He thought as he looked around for the one who would seem to be giving orders. Remember Tyrant, These are good guys, they don't rule under one per-say. There could be many. How many would know he faught along side his sister, but techniqually, all he favored was family. And the Haunters were mainly family. Though he could spot a few in this crowd that were related to him as well. He would not fight against them, but to those he knew were not from his father nor mother, were on a hit list as soon as they got on his bad side. It'd be best not to get on this ones bad side.
He continued to look around, refusing to seek further in the temple. He just looked around the front, in Awe some of the time, laughing to himself at others with an occasional comment or complement. He had to hand it to them, this was nice.
Phoenix stood up when she saw a stranger walking around in her home. She went down the flight of stairs and approached Tyrant, twitching her tail. "I have not seen you before. Who are you, and what is your business here?" The cougar asked, glaring at the wolf.
The black bear padded over to the outsider, towering over him. This one didn't seem so...good. "Be careful what you do around here, wolf." He warned. "All eyes are on you."
She was about to go find her room, and brushed against a black male whom she thought briefly was another when suddenly his scent came to her nares. She froze and spun around, fear in her eyes. Tyrant! You must go! Fear for her half brother was in her eyes. She turned to look at War Song and Phoenix. He...He thought he was somewhere else, a simple mistake. She offered a smile to them, trying to appease there greater natures. Her tail wagged a bit, but then it was tucked firmly beneath her. She had never been great at lying, but besides Sacrifice and Ressurrection, Tyrant was the only one who cared.
He had been following his new friend about when he was suddenly struck by the sound of her voice. A tone was in it tha the had not yet heard in her: fear. A soft, cautious growl set in his throat as he pulled up beside her, bristling a little but not yet shifting into an attack stance. His murmured voice floated to her, pitched for she alone. What's wrong? Has he frightened you?
He hadn't yet figured out that Tyrant was not the one Purgatory feared. He was only responding to the discomfort of a friend.
The brutes eyes widened in amusment as the cougar approached. Ebony tail wagged a bit in a friendly greeting toward them, "I do not assume other wise-" His words were to the bear as his half sister came up to him and he smiled gently and reassuringly to her. "I am not lost dear Purgatory, I have come here upon my own accords but wish these no harm in their humble abode..." And then another Saxton, who was followed by Promise; another half sister to Tyrant. "Let the crowd gather, I like the attention." He chuckled to himself and nodded to both sisters. Promise kirked her head with a strong stare to the black brute.
Tryant was as cocky as any with a large ego. Always making light of even the most deadly of situations, especially if the danger was upon him and not upon a loved one. "My mannerisms here are just to observe. No harm, no foul play, but wish me to join I must refuse I do not take sides. I only fight for those who share my blood." And his words were truth. If Purgatory and Rasheetah were to tangle, Tyrant would undoubtably ward off the cheetah before his sister. Even with the gears moving in his mind, his unreadable actions continued to flow like the loyalty of the Nile river.
"Though do tell me, I wish not the leaders name, but what do you call yourselves? I have smelt many packs here I doubt this is one family but many of the sort." He gave a sharp gesture of how a cougar bear and wolf could never relate with blood. And was truely curious to the uprising of this group. He knew too well it was against the Haunters, but if they did not know he was Risen's older brother, he would not flaunt that information.
At Tyrants words, Purgatory released a groan. Brother, your killing me. She hissed, but there was a look of affection in her eyes. But who would he protect, if it was sister against sister? Brother against brother? If they asked her, she would tell them exactly who he was. Her brother. A Haunter, so to speak, but like Rajsa. He had a mind of his own, and would not let anyone tell him to do something unless he wished it. Sje was am ex=Haunter herself. Did the pack trust her? We're called the Ancient Guardians, Tyrant. Her tone was flat now, as were her eyes. She was trying not to lean on Saxton, he was so strong and sure, to her meek and uncertain. Your not supposed to be here. She didn't want him hurt, indeed with all these others they would get testy with a Haunter in their midst. Look at Rajsa and what she was being put through, the poor dear. Purgatory wagged her tail, trying to appease her older half brother.
His smile wavered at his sister's dicomfort. But again the strength in him proved and highlighted arrogant glee. Brother against brother, and visa versa he would stay clear out of. It was a siblings right to fight a sibling, he would not step in the way unless one of no blood were to help. He mouthed the word "Guardians" and continued to watch the anxiety.
Her words were heard, not to be there. but did he move? oh no. "A leaf as well does not belong on the wind, and yet it still floats where it wasn't ment to go. Leaves belong on trees, not the wind, but they still decide went to let go of their branch and ride the unridable." he spoke solemnly, He had never been a Haunter, just an ally to them. An ally to siblings, he could care less about the others. It was Risen's wishes for him to stay and protect. He only did what his siblings wished.
Hmmm what would Joscelin say to that? Saxton cocked his head a little, thinking, for it was his brother who was the philosopher, and he himself the comedian. But he thought up an appropriate response, and spoke it. Aye, but be a prudent leaf, and do not land among the brambles. They will rend your skin to tatters. Brother or no brother, he was frightening Purgatory. And that could not be tolerated. No... no she was... too dear.
Now... what had made him think that? He shook his head a little, trying to clear his thoughts. After all, he'd do the same for any helpless thing. Wouldn't he?
She shook her head at Tyrants words. You always did have a way for getting out of trouble, brother. She moved forward, and gently nudged him. You came, you saw, you have your information Tyrant. Then she was quiet for a moment, and she glanced around then said to him Have you seen her? Ressurrection? There was a glimmer of hope in her eyes, one that said Please say yes, so I can relax. She prayed Risen hadn't killed her, or someone else. Res had a bad habit of getting into trouble.
"Brother? Seeking information? Hmmm..." Slipping up next to Saxton came a mighty Siberian tiger. Weighing in at about 800 pounds, Vulcan certainly wasn't to be messed with, even if he was a nice guy. "Tyrant, is it? Well then, I suppose I ought to say Hello to a sibling of one of my packmates. However I'm not too sure about you, after hearing what Purgatory has to say. That name doesn't exactly earn you bonus points either, then again, that wasn't your fault." He paused, tail swaying gently behind him as his yellow eyes met Tyrants. "My name's Vulcan."
He was proud she acknowledge that he was very different and could find his ways out, at least up till now that is. Fate was unpredictable and he tried to dance around her closely but cautiously. He liked to tempt her, sway the gently goddess of foresight. Trying to get even her, to keep guessing his next moves.
As she questioned about Resurrection his head lowered slightly. Keeping silent for a while, then he shook his head. "But if you wonder if the Haunters have gotten to her, I can assure you, to my knowledge, they have not found her either. Your sister is strong and brave... and headstrong, she will not pass on easily and I doubt you will never see her again. I will send Lyric to you when I find her." He sighed, but the flame that had settled grew once more as another tiger approached.
Poor cocky Tyrant, with the big grin across his maw. Sarcastically announcing his "Nice to meet you too." In his eyes held a wild fire to strong to control, to wild to tame, to hot to come near. He did not submit his eyes to fall, instead he looked dead into the cats with defiance and strength. The crimson orbs roared with self confidence and strong will. "No, tis not my fault my name is such. My mother named me for her own hatred toward my father. I can see her hate, but just as well, I see through his reasoning. And they have created the most interesting of spawn. Though..." He glanced to both Purgatory and Promise. "My father always creates an interesting outcome with the gene pool." His final words were left with a small linger in the air as he once again faced the cat. Then spoke to Saxton. "If you would like a metaphor based around flees, it would be more logical. They are unwanted pests who meddle in the temples of those who dislike them. They take advantage, but I.. I will not take advantage, I am unwanted, and have found a place where I am partially accepted. But it will never be my home. I shall remain homeless until my demise; be it in the face of battle, As the shield to blood, or as an old grandfather who passes away knowing there may be a chance for one of his own offspring's to make a difference in the world." Through his words, his eyes never twitched from Vulcan. Letting Saxton know clearly though that he was talking to him, and for any other ear that wished to listen.
With a chuckle, the tiger tipped back his head slightly, breaking the contact. Taking a step forward, Vulcan grinned. "I admire your courage, friend. Though you may be loyal to whomever is in the Haunters you have a spark that signalls to me you are different to them. For a wolf, you aren't too bad." A toothy smirk followed as he slipped onto his haunces to sit. "Now, Do you have a certain reason to be here, Tyrant. Or is this just a curious visit?" The eye contact was once again made, though this time without such intensity.
She gave a scowl to Vulcan, then lightly batted him on his head as if in admonishment but a look of mortification crossed her face after she did so and she turned to face her brother but mumbled Hes my brother, he stopped by to make sure that things were all right with everyone. Then she added in a drier tone And to get a layout of the area. She gave a faint smile to her half brother, then looked behind her to see if there was any other unwanted guests. Not that Tyrant was unwanted, mind you. Just...Unexpected. She sat down, her tail curling around her and she looked behind Tyrant. He always traveled alone, this she knew but it wasn't someone who was with him, but for someone who may be following him. When no signs of her sister appeared, she gave a soft sigh. Then she said in a care free yet strained voice Tell Sacrifice I am sorry. And give mama by best wishes for her new pups. She doubted Tyrant even talked to Kage, but there was always that chance that he might. Not that the black wolfess would care, mind you. No, Kage was much to...Ah, whats the word. Crazy. Yeah, that fits.
A smile stayed present as the cat gave him an accepting look. He was no Haunter and nothing like them. The only things he killed for fun were humans, and even then he killed more for his father than himself. The white scar upon his nose was an unfateful encounter with a domestic wolf. He would not have hurt her if she had not intruded in business. He gave her plenty of warning and tried to give all others as much warnings before he faught or attempted to attack. Especially alone.
But no discomfort laid upon his shoulders in the presence of what the Haunters would call an enemy. His tone turned hearty now. "I was just curious to see how this place held out. The saying goes 'curiosity killed the house cat' it doesn't mention a wolf so I felt pretty sure I'd be alright." He smiled with friendly gestures. "Mb
As Purgatory began to look behind him, he chuckled a bit. "You know no one follows me, and if they do it is a free for all. Plus I doubt anyone from the other pack would follow me in here in fear of their own lives." Then her words were spoken and he nodded. "I shall relay the message." He rose to his feet, shaking his 180 pound bulk to rid himself of a few shedding blots of fur.
Turning he began to head out, giving a nod to Saxton before speaking back to Vulcan. "It'd be wise not to compare me with the Haunters. I live where I am welcome. But the only lives in that pack I value are the ones who are related to me. In a line of battle, those close to my heart will be the ones I protect. And It will not always be family I will protect. I have made a silent vow to protect the two from Vestige's pack, Camarin and Moonpaw, as well as their children. During fight, if they are attacked by a non blood relative from the Haunters side.... well lets say the Haunters will get a suprise if they pull me into a fight where their enemies will be whom I protect." With that he turned and with a casual walk, he left the temple and those who inhabited it.
To the temple? Not just yet, he was wanting to explore a little more before he went to rest.
As Tyrant left, he relaxed, voice soft as he spoke to Purgatory. A... unique personality, your brother. I'm... not sure what to think of him. Perhaps a little blunt in its honesty, but that was his way. His eyes followed Tyrant until he was out of sight, weighing, considering...
But all of a sudden his face cleared completely, putting such thoughts out of his mind. No point in worrying about a possible danger that has already passed. So he looked to Purgatory, smiling as he spoke. So, have you found yourself a room yet?
As her brother spoke, then disappeared, she gave a faint smile. Snowfall and Hostage. They're really adorable children, they are. Then Saxton spoke. Ah...No. I haven't yet. She frowned for a second, then said I was thinking about getting one on the upper floor. Wanna come with me? She liked his company, his prescence near to hers. Her grey banner waved, and the speckled female stood ready to go 'room hunting'
He smiled back at her, glad to have moved past such uncomfortable things. So he waved his tail and prepared to follow her, saying, Perhaps we can find a couple of rooms together... then we could be neighbors! Coming from any other wolf, that phrase might have suggested something, but Saxton was so completely innocent of any lower thinking that it could not possibly be taken as anything but what the words themselves suggested. He wanted to be near her, where she could easily be found if he wanted her. No more... right?
