She was beautiful. The Saluki was simply breathtaking as she strode daintily into the Temple. Her clear brown eyes darted from face to face. This was like nothing she had ever seen before - carnivores and herbivores coming together for the greater good. It was something she just had to be a part of. She quickly adjusted to the company of big cats and lifted her head high, howling for the alpha.
He had just come back from outside, his moements quick and light. Then he heard a howl, calling to him. He returned it, then arrived behind Amunet. Is there something I can help you with? Those odd colored eyes were flat and emotionless, not like his usual self but he was tired. So very tired. He knew she was no Haunter, she smelled nothing like one so the pack was safe. For now.
Amunet turned around when she heard the wolf's voice. "You must be the alpha." She began, bowing to him. "I am Amunet, and I wish to join your pack." She had heard tales of the Haunters, and decided to take action when her sister joined them.
He gave a faint smile. He'd make it bigger, soon he would but right now he was just so tired. Yeah, I'm the alpha. Pick a room, any that is to your liking. My name is Baphomet. The others will introduce themselves as you go. Then he simply....Walked away. He seemed like a phantom, drifting in and out of the stone pillars. He was gorgeous, with his black coat shimmering in the fading light. Now, he had to find Drainblue.
Amunet smiled and nodded. She then looked around at all the rooms. There were so many, but she soon found one that she really liked. It was medium-sized, with a window in the wall. It was almost completely plain except for the small stone statue in the corner. It was about twice as tall as she and was in the shape of a howling wolf, its nose reaching up to the window. She jumped onto the statue's back and stared out into the snow.
