Jack began walking into the Temple, but his pace quickened after a while. "Baphomet! I must speak with you!" He howled, then sat down. He looked at the gerenuk. "Min, in case you're wondering what this is about, we have our own home now."
Min nodded. "If there is nobody there, who will keep it safe for you?" She asked nervously. "I can watch it for you, just to tell anyone who comes that the land is yours."
"If you want, but be careful. It's called the Azul Canyon, and it's way over there." The canine replied, pointing out the door and down the mountain.
Min nodded. "Right." She raced out of the Temple and down the snowy slope of the mountains.
The male glanced to Drainblue, then murmered Wait here. With that, he trotted towards the call of Jack. As he neared the African Wild dog, he bowed his head in greeting. Jack. What can I Do for you? His tail waved a bit, a sign that he was pleased, very much so and silently he waited for the other to respond.
Jack smiled. "No need to bow to me, Chief." He chuckled. "I was wanting to ally my pack, the Azul Canyon, with the Ancient Guardians." He wagged his tail, eager to start exploring with his packmates.
Panny stumbled into the Temple, running to the African Wild Dog. "Jack. You're a good fighter, right? There's a human and a cat and I think they want to hurt us. The human just challenged Bob!" She gasped, slurring all her words together.
Jack sighed. He was used to Penny's paranoia. "Fine. I'll come take a look, but just to prove to you that he's not going to hurt you." He replied, then looked at Baphomet. "Perhaps we should continue this conversation another time. Maybe when my bird friend isn't convinced that the world is out to get her." Jack bowed to the alpha of the Ancient Guardians, then raced out of the Temple with Penny.
