Keilo
With his failing sight, Keilo hadn't seen the rattler coiled up near the rock until he stepped on it. Thanks to human persacution, many of the rattlesnakes no longer rattled their tails in warning, in fear they would be found and killed by the two-leggers. It was unfortunate for Keilo, for the warning would have prevented him a painful bite on his leg, and the snake wouldn't have a sore back from where the giant paw came down on it.
It had been an hour since the encounter, and Keilo couldn't put pressure on his front limb, which was swollen to three times its normal size. Panting heavily, Keilo slumped down on a trail and closed his eyes against the throbbing pain. His stomach reeled and his head ached and burned with fever.
Avin
The hybrid crossed the land when he heard a sound of grass being broken. His head popped up quickly and he turned to face the wolf. The leg on the poor brute looked horrible, but he had no idea of which human may be able to help. Quietly he approached, Whispering in a soft tone "Would you like me to take you to human aide?". His own life would be in trouble if he did.
The border collie wolf mix lowered gently on the ground, blues stared softly and he waited. He wanted to help but was confused on how to go about doing it. Licking his lips and placing his head on his paws, he waited to find out if Keilo wanted human help..
Hidden Betrayal
She moved with the silence of a panther as she trotted forth, her dark ebony hued coat sticking out amongst the rocks. She saw Keilo and Avin, her face softening. To make up for her past sins, Betrayal had begone saving random souls. Seeing Keilo was just luck. Softly she moved forth and said softly "I know someone we could take him to." Aralyn. The healer Ladys friend.
Keilo
He lifted his head as he heard the voices of others, but his mind seemed to swim with crazy illusions. For a moment, Keilo wasn't certain if he were dreaming again or if these two were real. They seemed real enough... so blinking his bloodshot eyes to get a better sight of them, the wolf lifted his muzzle, "...humans... please, help." In the past, humans were a great bane to his pack, but if they could save his life... he'd trust them.
Hidden Betrayal
She nodded her black head and gently grabbed the scruff of the larger male. She began to pull him, as gently as she could, to the Woodland farm where Aralyn or the Lady could care for him. The way was agonizingly slow but she did as best she could trying not to further damage the male.
Azin
The wolf hybrid tried to help by grabbing more scruff and pulling his own wieght. He followed intently behind Hidden Betrayal, having a feeling she knew where she was going. And, well, he didn't.
