-Big Horn Sheep-

An elder Big Horn sheep gets left behind its flock for it has wandered and slowed down. It was to weak to fend for itself and without its flock int would surely die from predators. It lays down weakly and grazes. If a predator came it wouldn't be able to get up quickly. It looks up and begins to call for its flock.

Some crows sit in a tree looking at the sheep. It would surley die on its own they hoped.

A hawk flys down and pecks at the elder sensing it was weak and might die.

The elder calls for its flock more urgently now but no answer is heared. YThe elder flails its head at the hawk who soon gives up and circles the big horn sheep in the sky.

Keilo & Santori

Keilo spotted the hawk circling in the sky, and decided to check out what the bird was circling over. As he padded across a gentle slope on the mountain, the large wolf heard the sheep call out, and he stopped suddenly. His wolverine friend plodded on just a few yards away. Keilo glanced over at Santori to see if he heard; he did. He also smelt the sheep. The wolverine clambered up onto a high rock and peered over the top to see the elderly creature.

Keilo circled very wide around the elderly sheep and then padded swiftly into veiw. The wolf suddenly rushed at the sheep, trying to drive him to the rock where Santori waited. He would be careful to stop the rush if the old sheep tried to stand his ground.

Big Horn Sheep

As he sees Keilo make a rush at him he stands but is very slow to. He flails his horns at Keilo and backs up towards the rock not sensing the wolverine. He calls out more urgently to his herd but is to no prevail.

The hawk continues to circle cause it knew that if Keilo and Santori killed the sheep they might not carry it away to their caches like some wolves and insted just leave the leftovers. The hawk lunges at the crows to scare them away then circles in the sky once more.

The crows are discouraged at seeing Keilo and Santori appear because they had wanted the meal. They caw loudly but then fly away as they see the hawk lunge at them. They dissapeer into the woods.

Keilo & Santori

Keilo makes rushes at the sheep, but never gets too close. Once the old sheep had gotten close enough to the rock, Santori sprung down to land on the creature's back. He clamped his bone-crushing jaws around the back of the sheep's neck, trying to snap the neck. Keilo barked and snarled as he darted around this way and that, trying to confuse the sheep, or at least keep its attention on him for the moment.

Big Horn Sheep

The Big Horn Sheep snorts. and bucks as wildly as it could as Santori jumps onto its back. He swings his horns at Keilo but dosent quite hit him for he is slower then most big horned sheep cause he was real old. He twists his head and hits Santori with a horn into his side but not hard enough to knock Santori off. When he twisted his head Santori just snapped the elders neck and the twisting of his head didnt help the elder either. He soon fell limp and fell to the ground sideways. Keilo had better jump off or risk haveing the sheep fall on him.

The hawk continues to circle waiting paitaintly for them to eat and leave so it could fly down and have an easy meal if Keilo or Santori dont drag it away to their caches.

Keilo & Santori

Keilo lept side-ways as the sheep fell, careful not to get crushed. Santori also sprung off the animal. Though he looked like a sluggish, clumsy creature, he was actually very quick.

Keilo nodded to his friend, waving his tail slightly. Then they began to eat, snarling in pleasure as they did so. They soon ate their fill. Before leaving, Keilo looked upwards, squinting his eyes aginst the bright sun as he saw the hawk. He glanced back at the sheep. There was alot of meat left, more than enough to feed a hawk and crows if they came back. Keilo stretched briefly before he and Santori padded off to inform the pack of their kill.

-Hawk-

As they leave the hawk flys down from the sky and begins to eat quickly. When the hawk was ful it flew away. The crows didnt return for the hawk had scared them away.

Cortinarri

Cortinarri padded in carefully, following the scent of Keilo and Santori. When the omega located the sheep, she waited for her pups before eatting.

Amber, Charcoal

Both pups enter and sit beside their mother. Amber sniffs the prey and begins to eat until she is full. She wags her tail and begins to try to clean the blood from the kill off her pelt.

Charcoal waits till his mother starts eating and he looks around the area. He pads to the prey and sniffs it. He looks to his mother.

Cortinarri

Cortinarri eats her fill, and also cleans the blood from her muzzle. The omega sniffs the wind casually, and thinks about something. After a moment, she turns to her pups, "Do you want to go explore?"

She had an idea on how to claim the alpha position, but she would wait for a while.

Amber, Charcoal

Amber leaps up happily. "Sure!" She yips.

Charcoal wags his tail and nods in agreement. "Can we go now?" He asks questioningly and excitingly.

Cortinarri

"We'll stop by the packlands and have Vevisca join us." she tells her pups happily, then strides off for the Silver Glades territory.

Amber, Charcoal

They both hurry after their mother excitedly.
