Nita*Poison Blade

Nita dartted to the lands, her light gray coat gleaming in the sunlight. She paused feeling the winds whip by her wildly. Her amber eyes peered around for the gray brute. She saw nothing but empty lands that seemed to go on forever. A massive bark emitted through her jaws ecoing over the lands she veiwed so clearly. "Storm?" she called out taking in a deep breath that filled her lungs to capasity.

"Mother wait up!" a bark came from behind which was her son Poison Blade. He too was a light gray and nearly her size and only nearing a year old. Her was rather musculant and had a split personality.

Nita looked back over her shoulder to see him padding up to her. "What are you doing?" she asked gently. "I'm just bored," he snapped rolling his eyes, but Nita filled with laughter at his strange behavoir. "Sure you are," she snickered then looking forth again in hopes he would suddenly appear.

Storm Warning

Where the Wind Will Whisper to Me

The steel grey male stared atop the mountain his eyes hollow and dim. He had layed here for so long awaiting for Kachina to come back to him but he knew she wouldnt. She never would be able to come back. He had not run from her fight but he had not known about it. He should have been there! He should have done something for her something-

Whats this? Someone looking for him? Blast that stupid female she had told everyone that he was alive. He had been in hiding for some time. Well not so much hiding as hollowing oneself. He lay where he was ignoring her calls the steel grey wolf staring hard out over the land. Him and Kachina had come here at one time and played. Back in a time of peace and happiness when war was nothing but a memory. A bad memory.

Where the Raindrops Falling Tell A story

Nita*Poison Blade

She peered around again remembering excatly what he looked like. She padded a distance still searching and her son close by. She tocied a wolf laying on the ground, large and gray. Could it be? She thought her ears perked. "Storm warning?" she whipshered creeping closer. She got a clear veiw and realized it was. She lept back in shock. "I can't beleive this you coward!" she snapped bitterly. "Do you not realize what your duaghters have been going through? They are alone in this world and heart broken! You should be there for them!" she shot off at him with rapid fury. Poison Blade looked at his mother in shock for she always seemed so calm, tender, and sweet.

Storm Warning

He snarled low and vicisouly in his throat. This wasnt the same kind Storm Warning as before. He stood and whirled on the female and although gaunt power still lurked in him. "Listen here lady. I dont care anymore. Enola can take care of herself. Ageni's done well. I've watched them grow as a father should. Now Im mourning as I should. Back off." He growled and stalked past her and leapt upon a higher rock and lay down staring up at the sky and the night stars.

Nita

Nita shook her head, "You have no idea," she said with tears. "You must really hate your pups to abandon them," she said softly. "I'll return," she spat out padding away to have a word with her mate.

Eytan

Eytan came darting in soon after, fleet paws carrying him swiftly. He came to a stop a few yards away, speaking quietly and calmly. Hello, sir. It is good to see you again. Nita is thrilled. And he waited, remembering Storm's manner very well and knowing that he should gauge the male's mood before going further.

Nita

Nita soon appeared not long after Eytan. Poison Blade had wandered off to do some more exploring with his sibilings. Nita stood beside Eytan for she didn't know what being a father was like, but Eytan did. Nita could only tell what it was like to be a mother. Besides Storm may listen to Eytan better then her.

Storm Warning

He growled at Eytan and his fur bristled. He just wanted to be left alone to wallow in his misery. He had lost everything dear to him except the pups. But everytime he looked at their innocent faces he wanted to break down and cry for they reminded him so much of his KAchina. As Eytan came nearer he stood and backed away the males thin frame moving quickly even in his state. He didnt want anyone near him anyone to bother him. Couldnt he just be left alone?

Nita

"Your pups really need you. Last I saw Enola she was with Ghost and only being hurt. The last I saw Ageni the other day she was having a mental break down. Your abandoning your pups, I know it's hard, but you can't just leave them," Nita tried to explain. She then looked over her shoulder at Eytan.

Eytan

Eytan sighed, but made no move after Storm, simply beginning to speak. Storm... my alphen was a wolf of courage, one who did his duty no matter how it hurt him. My alphen was a wolf of compassion and charity, seeking to help those in need if he could. Please tell me that this wolf still exists somewhere. Your children are out there alone, being hurt, being taken advantage of, all because you cannot bring yourself to face them. Please tell me that you have not lost your love for them. They still need you, just as you need them. My Gavan is quite confused, and he needs me. And he is nigh unto being a yearling. Do not believe that just because your children are grown means that they do not need you. No, my friend. They need you more now. And he sighed again, eyes a little moist at the thought of Enola and Ageni. He really loved all pups, all small, young things. They thought you were gone, Storm... lost forever. And I don't know if you can even begin to imagine... what it is like... to lose a father. And he bowed his head, no longer persuading, merely sad. Tell me you will not do this to your little ones.

Storm Warning

The wolf snarled suddenly and he stood tall and proud glaring straight into Eytans eyes "I know exactly what its like to lose a father. And a mother! SHE KILLED THE WHOLE PACK!" He growled and began to pace back and forth growling viciously. He had told Kachina about what Aaka had done, how she had killed her own mate and pups, how she had suddenly gone mad. She spared few and only those who offered something to her. Damon had done something. He had fought back. What had Storm done? He had just faded back and away from Aaka, from his family. "They have you monsuier. They do not need me." He had in fact talked to Enola not to long ago. She had stumbled upon him some how but after one snap at her she had fled. She looked in worse shape then he did. Her body was bone thin her fur ragged looking and dull. The spark that had been in her eyes had died and the rebel that had once thrived in her lie quiet. Ageni....Ageni had been through a lot this he knew. But he wanted nothing to do with them. With that life. He just wished to remain here and mourn his loss of a mate. Of a life that had once been.

Nita

Nita looked at him with a pitiful stare. "Then you know what it must feel like for them. Ageni lost her mother, her brother, and she thinks her father. You can't at lest let her know your alive? She watched several wolves drop dead by her paws. I know everything she saw, all the blood that was spilled. Kachina did too. I was there. You are a selfish brute!" she snapped and dartted off to the pack as quickly as possible. "Once again I'll be right back," she snapped.

Aaka

The white alphess moved with silence over the rocky ground every now and again setting a pebble lose and causing it to fall far below. As Nita left the female came out and she growled at her brother in dark anger. Their way of gentleness wasnt going to get through to Storm. She walked straight to her brother and snapped at him in fury. "Storm what are you doing here? You know your pups need you. They need you more then ever now Storm and if you are to much of a coward to deal with their scorn then you should be killed right here and now." Nothing was more sharp then Aaka's words. She spoke in a voice edged like a knife and her fury was one to reckon with. She had pups now. A mate a life a home. She turned to Eytan and in hher eyes lurked what one could call madness. Haunting. But covering it all was anger. HEr brother had failed his children and that was not respectable. He was a coward. He was a fool. And She was not to be trusted.

Nita

Nita soon paded back with her head low and her ears drawn back she heard Aaka snapping at storm. "He has become nothing more then a pathetic brute," she stated shaking her head. "Ageni ran off when I told her," she added in there quickly.

Eytan

Eytan met Aaka's gaze unflinchingly, nodding his head. If you lack the courage, Storm, to even care for your own children, then you are much less of a wolf than I thought you. And his eyes, too, were losing their cool veneer. Now he was getting angry.

Nita

She looked up at Eytan having enough of this. "You know what Storm. Hate them all you want, sit their and morn, suffer and know that your doing more wrong then ever before," she growled. "Eytan, I'm going back to the pack. Maikoda has been acting strange lately," she said softly and padded back to packs.

Aaka

A dark growl rose from deep inside the alphess and she grabbed her brothers muzzle and pushed him down until he was in the submitting position. She could see how his anger spark and she placed a paw on his throat. Glancing to Eytan she looked back at the male "Storm Warning. Mother raised you to be a giver and love. Father raised you to be a fighter and you were the only one out of all of us who envelped both sides. All of us went and became fighters or givers. Now I'm not asking you Storm Warning I'm telling you. Go find your pups. Spend one day with them and then I will leave you alone. I will walk out of your life forever and you can forget that I ever existed. You can come back here and mourn and weep for the lost or you can go down and cherish the living." She stared hard into her brothers haunted orbs her own haunting eyes covered up by anger.
