Flame

Bleached femme slowly climbed to the top of the mountain. She sat back on her haunches and raised her maw, emitting a lonely call. It echoed through the valley as she waited for a reply. Crystal blue orics stared in wonder at the beautiful scenery. The cold air felt refreshing to the fae as she waited. Her fur ruffled in the wind.

*Human & Horse*

A mare came thundering down a low trail on the mountain, with a human mounted on her back. After a while, the mare was slowed down as the terrain got more difficult to traverse. She bared her teeth slightly and pulled her ears back. She had heard the terrible screams from her two friends back at the Breve Ridges, where she had just left from. The were heading away to get help for their friend, though they didn't know it was already too late.

Venus

Cougaress slinked through the mountains when she spotted a human on a horse. She had seen them before. At the Breve Ridges, yes, they were the ones who escaped with their lives. Full from the mare she had killed and eaten there she wasn't about to attack. She was weak, the mare she had brought down had broken two of her ribs and crimson liquid was now spilling from her side but the wound was starting to dry. She snarled and tryed to hide and blend with the mountains but it was quite difficult as she could barely walk.

Dismal

Dismal
Drip, drip, drip... Splat.

The large black bear was wandering aorund aimlessly, pointlessly, until he came apon the strong scent of human and horse. Mmm, a meal... he thought to himself, lowering his body just a tad as he sped up, running over the land as fast as he could without falling. Then he found the pair, and he smirked, licking his hungry chops. He hadn't eaten in a while, and he was healthy, so these two could go down instantly. Staying silent, he moved around to the side, watching them intensly. He gnored the cougar and wolf, and continued moving. Then, at a nise angle, he roared and ran out of hiding, jaws open wide as he aimed to latch onto the mare's shoulder...

the slender tawny feline hadn't eaten the human she'd killed at tall grass prairie. ew, what a disgusting, revolting thought. human's were not good to eat, in her opinion. as she weaved through the thick brush, the sound of shod hooves against stone reached her onyx-tipped ears, catching her attention. her dark green eyes narrowed slightly as she changed direction, coming upon the human and equine a short distance away. she caught sight of the bear, going for the horse, and lowered herself to the ground. he could have the horse- she'd take care of the human. hissing softly, tail whipping about, she suddenly leapt, snarling. she made sure she didn't hinder the bear's attack, instead trying to coordinate hers with his. as he aimed for the horse's shoulder, the she-cat leapt for the human from the opposite side, hoping to knock her off the equine's back, thus leaving each of them to their own battle. claws unsheathed, upper lip pulled back in a fearsome snarl, she launches herself, aiming for any part of the human she could grab, hoping her sheer weight and momentum would knock the human off, hopefully break a few things and make the death a bit easier...

Flame

Auditives flickered and the fae stood, alarmed by the sound of a horse and the strong scent of human. Though the fae wasn't intrested in eating human. Crystal blue orics spotted the equine. A deep growl emitted from her throat and she prepared to lunge at the equines exposed boa.

Venus

Cougaress turned and left, as her side was bleeding alot and she needed help.

*Horse & Human*

The horse let out a loud scream, trying to rear back and run, but it as all too late. Powerful jaws closed about her shoulder, and she stumbled to her knees. Panicked and in pain, the mare turned her head and snapped at the side of the bear's face. Feeling trapped, it was her only means of defense, because at her angle she could not really kick at him.

Then Flame hit, just as she was turning her neck. Fangs sunk into the side of her neck, not near anything vital yet.

The human had turned, her attention taken by Dismal. She didn't have a clue what predator was coming up at her side. Suddenly she felt the wind go out of her as she was propelled from the mare and landed heavily on the ground, one leg broken when it got caught a second too long in the stirrups. Her arm was dislocated as well after she landed at an awkward angle. Teeth had sunk into her side, just below her good arm. Instantly her struggles began. The good arm waved about, trying to beat at the cat.

Dismal

Dismal smirked as he felt the horse's shoulder in his jaws. Almost instinctively, he started shaking his head around furiously, wanting to rip the soft hide into peices. Soon he was bitten by the mare, but he only bit down even harder on it's shoulder. Dismal then released the shoulder and then snapped at the mare's face, and then he reared up onto his hindlegs, strong paws waving in the air as he aimed to strike an eye with his dull but large claws...

alayna

as the she-cat tumbled to the ground, atop the squirming human, her needle-sharp claws dug into the human's legs as her jaws closed on her side. snarling loudly, she shook her head side to side, hopefully ripping up the soft, tender flesh. changing her grip suddenly, she went for the unprotected throat, allowing the human to weakly beat at her sides, causing only a little annoying pain.

Flame

The white femme tasted the sweet,warm flesh of the horses boa. She released her jaws and began to rip at the equines neck. Auditives flickered as she listened to the other animals though they did not concern her.

*Horse & Human*

The mare screamed again, and tried to rise, but Dismal was too strong. Skin and muscle were torn and blood ran profusely down the limb. When he let go, she attempted to rise. Her face was snapped at, and then a powerful blow struck her head. Her targeted eye was completely destroyed, and the other claws ripped through the flesh around, leaving a gaping wound that further shed her blood on the ground. Half blinded, she tried once more to stand, but a terrible pain gripped her throat and she felt the flesh yeild to wolvish jaws. With a cry, she faltered and fell harshly to her side. She was desperately weak and near death.

The human's struggles were put to a quick end when the cougaress made her next move. The lady was helpless against the big cat, and soon her throat was seized between the powerful jaws. In a matter of a few short moments, she lay dead, her crimson blood also staining the ground around.

Flame

The wolfess ripped a large piece of meat from the horses boa and carried it off in silence. It would be her first meal in a days. The femme's stomach grumbled as she ran from the mountain. Horses blood covered her maw in which she carried the meat in.

Dismal

Drip, drip, drip...

Dismal roared again as he felt his successful aim come to his advantage. Without wasting one more second, the large black bear opened his jaws wide once again and lowered his self down, placing his forepaws on the mare's neck. He then snapped hurriedly at the area between them, wanting to completely kill this animal before he would feast...
