Cavan & Tupit
The badly scarred-up wolf sat on his haunches with his shoulders hunched up and his head hanging down. His clouded left eye, scar-marred face, and stubby left ear gave him a frightening appearance to some. And by his posture, it may appear he was in no good mood.
Tupit lay by his father's side, sick, thin, and weak. His mother had vanished too early in his young life, and Cavan had no idea what to do with such a young pup. Tupit was malnurished and scrawny and not growing nearly as big or fast as a normal pup would. And like his father, he was deaf in his left ear.
Legosa
The white hybrid had picked up on Cavan's trail a while back. He knew about this wolf's theft of some little she-pup, since his pack borders the Opake Mountains. He also knew that Jais was the brother of Cavan, and the two didn't get along.
"Hey." He barked gruffly, mildly, as he drew near and sat down a few feet away. He eyed Tupit and then Cavan with a casual regard, noting the grizzly appearance of the father. He grinned inwardly, but kept his facade vacant of such emotions. He didn't want to unnerve this fellow wolf; Legosa needed something from him.
Cavan & Tupit
Cavan turned sharply to the other, raising a questioning brow to him, "Yeah?" was the equally gruff reply, showing the wolf's not so pretty mood.
Tupit shivered and hid under his father, cowering behind his front legs. Something about this big white brute frightened to the soul!
Legosa
He grinned faintly at Tupit's fear before replying to the father, "Legosa's the name." He began, "I've run into your brother before... a white fellow with a black streak over his shoulder? Hearing as how you two have some disagreements, I am willing to make you an offer. An alliance of sorts. We both have enemies that we can share." He turned away before turning his heavy muzzle back to the wolf, "Come to the Silver Glades when you get the time. "
Legosa began to stalk off, then stopped and looked back, eyeing Cavan's pup, "And we could watch that little thing of yours as well. Seeing as, I'm sure, he presents some troubles for you." Without waiting for a reply, the brute disappeared into the brush, heading back for his home.
