Aava, Esprit

Aava walked slowly into the land. She seemed to have passed on her keen sence of smell to her pups. Her and Vivek would have to teach them all about the humans, for their own safety. Behind her, bounded one of her pups, Esprit. She was the 'runt' out of the three. Aava refused to make that change her life. She stopped every once in a while to sniff in scents. If danger were near, she would have to protect Esprit. She sat on her haunches and looked back at her pup.

Esprits' small dusty gray body had slowed to a bouncy walk. Aava seen her brown eyes roll. Esprit stopped and also sniffed. She ran her tiny paw through the dirt. So remarkable. She didn't want to explore yet, she wanted to eat.
"Where are we going, mama?"
Her eyes rolled again to her mothers' white figure.
"We have been walking for almost an entire hour and we have seen nothing. Can't we just go back to Pyrola Fields and get some food?"
She climbed up a big rock and sat on her haunches. She looked around and then curled up into a cozy ball.

Aava turned.
"We will go home sometime. You need to know the basics of survival. It's very important. But I do soppose we can rest a while here."
She padded silenly to the rock and plopped down beside it. She didn't intend to sleep, not with her pup not next to her. Her bushy tail started to wag slightly, bouncing off the hard ground. She kept her eyes out for preditors.

Bagre

The youngster had told his father, over an hour ago, that he was going with his mother. So now for an hour he had been trailing after Aava and Esprit. His small, puppy-body made little noise and several times he lost his mother completely, and never was he actually in sight of them. But Aava's scent was very strong to him and he managed to follow it until he finally caught up with the two.

The black pup crouched and slinked across the ground, spotting Esprit. Trying to keep out of her sight and staying as quiet as he could, he snuck over to the rock. Then he sprung, trying to tackle her...

Esprit

Esprit was about to get up when she smelled her brothers' scent. She looked down to Aava but she had somehow managed to fall asleep. She let out a surprised yelp as her brother tackled her. She was pushed over the edge of the rock and fell on her bottem. She was good at sneaking. She trailed around behind him with her hackles raised, and then aimed to playfully tackle him back...

She let out a small snicker as she aimed.

Aava, Esprit

Aava awoke and turned to face her pups. Looking up at the sky, she started to feel slightly hungry.
"Come on now. We must all go back to Pyrola Fields. We have a visitor."
She tried to smile and then stood up. She yawned loudly and then stretched.
"Now, lets go."
She looked back and then started trotting away, but continued to keep glancing back to make sure they were both still there.

Esprit turned to their mother.
"Okay, lets go!"
Her voice rumbled.
Her small dusty body padded quickly after her mother, also glancing back to see if Bagre was following also.

Bagre

He picked himself up, growing playfully after being tackled by his sister. "I'll get you for that!" he yipped challengingly, sprinting after her and Aava as they headed back for their home. But attention was quick to be lost, and he began to sniff curiously at things on the trip back home.
