*Black bear*

A yearling black bear ambles up a trail. He had been foraging in dumps, and was very fat with human's food. He was also careless in his footsteps because he was full and drowsy.

Darkstorm

He watches the bear curiously from a distance. He wags his tail to show he will not attack.

*Black bear*

The young bear also had much curiosity, and he stopped to look at the wolf. He hadn't seen many wolves before, since he stayed close to humans to eat their food.

Darkstorm

He blinks, head tilting to one side.

"Hello..I'm Darkstorm.."

*Black Bear*

"Hello Darkstorm, I'm Misqueet. You're a wolf, aren't you? I've never seen a real wolf before. Just dogs." He takes a few steps towards you, sniffing the air to pick up your scent better.

Darkstorm

"Yup. And you're a bear, right?" He sniffs Misqueet curiously.

"I've never seen a real bear before. Just heard of 'em."

Misqueet

"Yep, I'm a black bear." he replies proudly. "There are other bears my mom had warned me about. She says they are much bigger than me. I think she called them grizzly bears. Well, anyways, she says to stay away from them." he paused, getting off the original subject, "So are there a lot of woofs around here?" Misqueet asks, making up his own plural form of 'wolf' .

Darkstorm

Darkstorm nods.

"Yup. Lots and lots and lots of.." He grins. "Woofs."

Misqueet

He nods thoughtfully to this information, not catching the grin Darkstorm gives him about his awkward speech. "So, do you see allot of humans too? They have really good food! My mom says to stay away from them, but I don't see why they are bad, I mean, they look awfully weak. They've never bothered me before. Do they ever bother you woofs?"

Darkstorm

"I haven't seen a lot of humans, but I know there are lots of them in the town." He shudders. "I would never, NEVER go to the town. Humans may look weak, but when they have guns, they are dangerous. Guns are these objects humans hold, and when they pull the trigger, a bullet comes out. It goes really really fast, and when it hits something, hurts them really badly. I've heart that one bullet can kill an adult wolf. Humans hunt wolves a lot, so I stay away from them."

Misqueet

He looks rather startled after hearing this, "Guns? And bullets?" Misqueet remembers hearing those words from the humans he ventured near. "I never knew... I'm awful glad you told me. Woofs are awfully fascinating! I suppose that's why my mom told me to stay away from them." he shrugs, then paws at the ground. He was very tired. "Say, do you know where any good places are where I could make a den? I haven't been in the wild very often, just when I was with my mom. I really don't know my way around."

Darkstorm

"Well, there's a nice place called The Ruins. Humans almost never go there, and it's a good place to rest."

Misqueet

"Ah, the Ruins." he pauses again. "...could you show me where they are? I've never heard of such a place."

Darkstorm

"Sure. Follow me."

The male wolf starts walking towards the Ruins.

Misqueet

"Thanks!" His stump of a tail flicks and he follows after Darkstorm at an awkward gallop to keep up with the wolf's faster pace.
