Umay

Sauntering leisurely over a high crest, Umay took her time to gaze about at the land around. Her light gray and white fur shimmered briliantly with winter thickness. The pale flakes of snow that fell dully from the sky rested idly on her fur or glided lightly off.

She was indeed a bit lonely for her former pack and family, but she was glad to be free. She had a new pack now, one that was still small and had room to grow. And she was seeking for the beta position. Yet she was seeking something else too... companionship.

Apparition

The solemn brujo picked his way carefully along the sharp ice covered rocks, switchblade-like claws digging deep into the frozen earth at times.

Pure, untainted grey optics are cast lazily about as he heaved a sigh now and then. Things had not gone too smoothly since he had left his former home, which was a far distance from sparkling creek valley, and now it was getting worse. He had followed the scent of his younger sibling here, but only to the dismay that it was weeks, maybe months too late.

Too miserable and exhausted to continue his never-ending trek, he reluctantly lay under a sparce-branched pine, the needles and melted snow dripping and falling onto his already rugged looking coat. He had not yet noticed Umay, too deep in his own toils and troubled thoughts to care.

Umay

The fae was taking very a keen observation of her surroundings, mostly enjoying herself. It was still strange for her, though, to be alone. Her early life up to now was filled with the bustlings and constant bickerings of a large pack, as well as trying to keep a brother and sister out of trouble which they always seemed to get into. A sense of freedom and a new life had drawn her entisingly from that life to where she was now; the member of a small, three-wolf pack. And it seemed worth it now, although she longed to meet up with her siblings and parents again.

It didn't take all too long before the mostly ashen-toned wolfess caught scent of Apparition. Umay paused and turned, scanning the area for the source of the odor. Although her wolfish eyes weren't good at picking out stationary objects, the ghostly hue of the snow helped to single out different colored things, including the brute's form lying under the pine. Without much thinking it, her tail gave a quick and friendly wave and Umay sent forth a sharp, perky bark to the stranger.

Her eyes shown with a youthful tone of spirit even though she was now an adult. She wanted to make friends with this other wolf so she tried to look as friendly as she could herself, but waited to see how he recieved her bark before she said anything.
