Kuron & Zoren

Kuron and Zoren were Great Grandchildren of the infamous wolf Black Plaque but from an unknown male. Their parents had been swept away in a flood and Kuron and zoren were only four months old. Kuron the smaller of the two led the way. He was very adventurous where as Zoren was very protective and defensive so he stayed slightly behind his brother.

Ty & Kraai

The eight-year old was clad in a backwards sweater today, the same grimy one that he'd been wearing on and off for two weeks now. It served him well however, and with the pair of jeans he was trudging around in, the boy was kept warm enough from the cooling weather in the mountains. "Slow down a bit, Ty. I saw something moving ahead." Winging from one perch to the next, the crow kept close to the boy as he wondered through the rugged terrain, speaking to him as if the boy could understand his words. The boy did understand several vital 'words' from his animal family, able to discern between various calls, body language, and noises that were detectable by his lesser hearing. So even though he didn't know the words that the crow was speaking, the tone of Kraai's cackles spoke of warning, and that alone made the boy more wary.

"Puppy." Ty stopped when he saw Kuron and Zoren walking a few yards away, and pointed as he spouted off a word he remembered from his early days with his family. Kraai cocked his ebony head, then bobbed it in a nod before he warned the boy again, just to make sure Ty didn't go running forward to greet the two unknown canines, "Stay where you are, Ty. Let them come to us first."

Zuron & Kuron

Kuron and Zurron both came to a halt as they stared at the two legger. Kuron immediatly tried to run to him but his brother grabbed his tailow Zur i want to go see this thing let me go pleasehe whined .His tail wagging trying to get free.Brother i don't think we should it could be dangerousHe spoke but then his young brother got free and went running straight for Ty. His little tail wagging. He came to a stand still about two feet from him and he sniffed around.

Zuron ran right after him and his fur raised in warning to the human.

Ty & Kraai

Ty dropped down into a kneeling position, flashing a small grin when Kuron ran for him, immediately recognizing the wagging tail and the body language that said the pup meant only to play, and not attack. "Puppy. You wanta play?" The child dropped down on his hands next, going into play bow, but he froze when Zuron suddenly ran forward bristling.

That's when Kraai flapped down from the branch he'd been perched on, and landed on Ty's shoulder, "Easy, pup. We aren't going to harm you." The crow doubted that Zuron could cause much harm, but if he did see fit to attack, Kraai couldn't do a whole lot to defend the boy, so he tried to settle the aggression before it got carried away, "Where are you parents...?" What worried him more was if the youngsters' guardians were around, and how they'd react to seeing a human near their pups.

Kuron & Zoren

Kuron tilted his head as the thing got down to their level and then play bowed. He didn't understand his words but played bowed back.

Zoren growled still.OUr parents are gone they were swept away in floodHe growled his tail flicking.

Ty & Kraai

Deciding not to heed Zoren's defensive growling, Ty engaged the more adventurous Kuron. Playfully growling, the kid swatted his hand at the pup, trying to get the other to play-wrestle with him.

Kraai kept a sharp eye on the two, but so long as Kuron was happy to play, he didn't see any harm coming from it. "Swept away in a flood...? I'm sorry to hear that." That solved one problem, but it also opened a new one; these pups were orphans, and since there hadn't been any flooding in the valley recently, he suspected that these guys weren't from any packs around here. "It's awfully dangerous being out here on your own, little pups. This Valley is full of others who would bring harm to you; but I know of a place where you will be safe and well cared for."

Kuron & Zoren

Kuron growled playfully and swatted his own paws at the boy and then lept at him. his tail wagging the whole time.

Zoren kept his guard up.Oh and how can I trust you?He spoke. He wasn't so sure about this. He had seen humans once before and well that was a bad time. and then this bird it was strange seeing him with a human.

Ty & Kraai

Ty tucked his shoulder down and buffeted the pup when he leaped at him, laughing between his playful growling. Then he reached out to try and shove Kuron over, to roll him on his back and pin him.

"You're a wise pup to ask that." Kraii acknowledged with a quick bob of his sleek head, "Your brother seems to trust us already, and he hasn't come to harm." The crow pointed out, not knowing that Zoren had a past encounter with humans that hadn't gone well.

Zoren

Zoren stared at the bird then looked to see his brother playing with the human and he slightly growled.Not yet true, but humans are untrustworthy. Humans tried to kill my family before the flood got themHe spoke. His tail twitched.

Kuron growled as he was now on his back and he nipped at him.

Ty & Kraai

"Again, you're wise to be cautious - most humans are very dangerous. However, Ty here has been raised by us for the past four years, and he's still but a cub." Kraai explained with great patience, "He is the only human who lives with us. In fact, I'm sure you'd be interesting in seeing who all is part of our family." Trying to work past Zoren's fear, the crow appealed to curiosity, trying to win the pup over that way, "There are big cats, dogs wolves, reptiles - wouldn't you like to meet them?"

Zoren

Zoren listened to him and it did catch his interest. His ears had perked up. His tail twitched.FineHe spoke. He would give this bird a chance he seemed friendly enough.

Ty & Kraai

That was a promising start. "Very good, you won't be disappointed. Now then, my name is Kraai, and this is our friend Ty - he's just a pup, as far as humans go." Trying to ease Zoren's fear of humans, the crow pointed this out of their young two-legger, trying to suggest that he was more or less harmless, "What are your names?"

Zoren

Zoren listened and he snorted.I am Zoren and my brother is KuronHe spoke his tail flicking.

Ty & Kraai

"Well Zoren, it's a pleasure to meet you." Kraai formally replied. A sharp, quick 'CAW!' caught Ty's attention, who put an end to his play-fight with Kuron and returned to the crow's side. "Would you like to meet the rest of the pack now? I'll give you a fair warning - there are a lot of us, and there are many different species, but you needn't worry. No one is going to harm you there."

Zoren

Zoren yawned and shook his head and nodded.alrightHe spoke. His tail Flicked Kuron walked over to his brother.Brother im tiredHe spoke.
