Dawn
Dawn came here after going to Suporvestus Basin. The dream meeting with Autograph really upsetted her. It seemed like death was worth it to her. Maybe it wasn't to Autograph, but Dawn was so desperate. Even if she didn't say it she missed her mate with all of her life. Why, did it have to be him to die that day? With a sigh Dawn came to a stop near a drop. If she jumped the impact would kill her immedietly or slowly. Either way death was going to be her welcome. She was seriously thinking suicide. However she didn't due it, at least not yet. It wasn't due to fear, but to responsibility. She had to care for her daughter till she was old enough to be on her own. In fact maybe she should go find her, but she didn't leave just yet. Her thoughts went to how she earned herself another foal after a year or two after her mate's death. She had been a forcebred foal by Tyrror himself. Dawn had almost even killed her before she decided to raise the young one. With a sigh Dawn remaind staring down at the rocky ledges below her that she could so easily kill herself on.
DAHAK
Things weren't going so well.
Spring was his most hated season of the entire year, and he could only take so much of it before he slinked up the Croal Mountains to get away from all the pollen and twitterpated idiots. God, was the world annoying.
Dahak (Day-hawk) sneezed uncontrollably as he strode up the steep incline of the ridge. He had chosen this spotspecifically for its high altitude and perfect overview of the valley. It was once his favorte spot as a young colt, still innocent and full of spark.
But now his colddemeanor seemed to bring down everyone around him, and Dahak didn't really seemed to mind. Misery thrived in company, so why not bring the whole empire down with him? The ebon stallion picked up his hooves high as he leaped over a small patch of loose gravel precariously close to the edge of the ridge. His footing was masterful in this setting. His herd had once called this place home.
As the nervy brute rounded a bend near the crop of a smaller mountain, his eyes fixated on a form standing near falling-point of the path's edge. Raising his heavy head, Dahak halted in his steps and stared. Wicked winds blew over him, whipping matts of cloudy mane into his face, causing the mare before him to seem...paranormal.
But he knew she wasn't. He coulld see her form moving, her chest rising as she breathed, and was intrigued. Not many creatures braved the faulty paths of the mountains. Curious, he continued forward, cautious to muffle his steps as best he could.
Hoping to come up on the blind side of her, he stopped only a few inches from her and looked down in the same direction she was looking. He chuckled inside and immediately understood the feeling.
Without warning, he spoke, his voice honey-smooth and baratone deep, but laced with a wicked hurt. "Who counts, lass? You or me? And do we jump on three or after?"

Dawn
Pain is evoking
Love is the only way
Too bad my love is gone
However it won't be too long
Before I got to join my love...
Dawn was still staring down at the steep drop when she felt someone watching her. It was that prickly feeling, and Dawn knew someone was nearby. She didn't look though, at least till he came up on her blind side. At her first glance she was thinking demon or along that line. Than she realizede that she was simply being superstitious. Hearing his words made her smile some at what he said. Hmm so hard to choose right now. To jump now with another fello equine, or later with no one. Heaven's knew the male most likely wasn't going to wait on her. That is if he was being serious, and just wasn't showing off.
"After, much after. I have to finish raising my demon spawn before I can jump. I owe her that much. However don't let me stop you from jumping. Unless you wish to wait till I can jump with you,"she said. The last part was spoken knowing he would say he'd most likely wait. Dawn doubted the stallion would even really jump. It would take a lot of courage, and especially no fear. If you let the fea eat you up than you wouldn't do it. Heck fear is what made a lot of people not do what they want ot do, no? That's why animals are different. Much more different when it comes to their fears. Their fears make them do it Dawn thought. My fear is of this hell spawned world. Man, she wished to be with her mate Autograph so bad. He had left to join the other side, but trust me in when I say Dawn won't be far behind. Whether it be by the way she lived, fighting, or simply because of a suicide attept. She knew she wasn't going to wait for old age.
That took way too long. With her ears pricked she turned to look at Dahak. Her body was littered with scars everywhere, some of them new from the fight. Dawn was a fighter, and it was clear with every scar, battle cry, and her hatred filled eyes. That was all Dawn knew these days. Even now her eyes were filled with hate. Hardly do you see her with out the hate. Mostly when she was looking at her children or sister did it not contain hate, but for anyone else hatred was what they got.
Why can't my hell go away
I just want it to vanish
It hurts to much to live this way
Which is why I choose to fight...
DAHAK
Dahak didn't believe in demons, not like you asked or anything. No, he only believed in wickedness and corruption, and in a physical form, his father who was these things defined.
Memories of his childhood no long haunted the lone stallion, for he had been wandering too long and discovering too many new things to dwell, but somehow, the cold, apathetic attitude of his father attached onto the colt at a very young age.
It took quite a lot to interest the old boy, but what was more interesting than a fine little lass along a ridge? Or maybe, not so fine...
After she had spoken, talking of a Hell on Earth and the spawn she had created, the mare turned, and in the spew of rays that pierced the overcast, Dahak caught a glimpse of what this Hell had done to her. The medals strewn across her body were impressive; he had never known a female to fight so savagely, unless she had been beaten, which he figured. in that case, he wasn't as impressed as he was surprised that she surved, mares being so fragile and weak, you know. And tempermental, which is why Dahak figured he'd better keep his opinions to himself.
Eyeying the sulking mare, Dahak turned his body away from her and looked down the drop again. "Who says you owe anyone anything? If she's a spawn, she's a spawn. They creep and slither their way into surviving. Why be a host? Be a parasite and feed to your heart's content, m'dear. "
She got one thing right, though. He wasn't going to jump. Not alone anyways. Didn't seem right. But he wouldn't wait for her. He'd wait for her story. It's not that he cared that she was in pain. Who wasn't? He just wanted to know the horros she'd seen so he could relish in the morbid andrenaline of fear.
Not much scared him anymore, so to hear others and their fears excited him. He missed the old feeling like an old friend, just for the comofrt in it and for the sensation of feeling.
Dahak raised his head to the mare, ears perked as if inetersted, but eyes glazed and empty, a common look for him. Dahak wasn't one to conversate, so it was a bit of a special occasion which was his reason for looking into teh eyes of Dawn.
Dawn
Don't try to out fight me
You'll only loose me quickly
Come on, and fight me
Please I beg of you
My heart can't stand the pain...
Dawn listened to him speak. However when he was done speaking their was a change in Dawn's body. Her eyes had narrowed with hatred. Her ears aginst her head defying a challenge. Her whole body rigid as muscles tensed she snorted with a enraged sound. Okay, it was okay for Dawn to call her child a spawn, but for someone else to do it was NOT okay. No matter how the child got into this world, she was still her child. She spoke now her voice cold as ice.
"You call my child a spawn again, you won't need to jump to die. I owe her because I didn't do her the favor of killing her when she was born. Yes, I could of killed her when she was born, innocent and yet a demon. Raise in the middle of a battle of hell. Would you like to feel that hell battle?" In a way Dawn was challenging Dahak to a fight in two ways. To insult her daughter, or to say he wanted to feel that hell. Dawn was in the mood for a fight, her emotions were causing her pain along with her heartache. Sadly enough Dawn fought till she couldn't fight anymore to make that feeling go away. Like a numbness from being drunk really. In a way Dawn was her own horror. She waited for Dahak to decide if he wanted to fight her. He should know it wouldn't be good because she had fought all kind of ages and genders of equines. Heck, some weren't equines..Let's face it Dawn was a natural born fighter.
Can you numb it for me
It only hurt a little
Can you hang on till I fall
I must caution you at least
Don't be too hopeful...
DAHAK
How long had it been since Dahak had been in a herd? Quite awhile, actually. The faintest sense of community he could remember was the one of himself in his home herd, and that was, what, six years ago? Yeah, social hour wasn’t a favorite past time of Dahak’s; he never dabbled in gossip or mere chit-chat.
However, he had been around long enough, growing rapidly into his massive hooves that were so common to his breed, to stand in on a couple of his father’s mercenary meetings with neighboring generals. Dahak was content with listening in on his father’s strategic discussions of what next herd they should pillage and destroy. It was quite an exciting childhood. New “friends” joined his herd every month.
Suddenly, the dark stallion noticed a warmth begin to grow, and a tension fill the air, thick and suffocating. Ah, she’s upset.
Without looking her way, Dahak casually shook his head and chuckled. Mares. Who understands them? So very, very touchy. Oh, and don’t you dare lay a hair on their precious darlings, even the bastards, because they are just that! Precious bastards.
The lord’s blood began to rise as he became annoyed. The winds that swept over him did nothing to the heat that was beginning to radiate from his body. Turning slowly to look up at Dawn, witherns twitching, Dahak raised an invisible brow. ”Come now, lass, think of your child. Do you really think this wise? I was quite into the idea of getting along. Ah, well…”
The aged fresian didn’t need to prepare much as he lifted himself, rearing with forelegs tucked in, and dove very close to where Dawn was, not intending to land on here, just near. As he did, he reached his neck out and attempted to give a good nip to her chest, not too hard to scare, but just nice enough to pinch.
Dahak didn’t indulge in fights very often, but a bit of a batter with a riley female could excite up his present life a bit.
Dawn
Dawn snorted at him with anger. She wasn't one to be teased or messed with. Anger was clear in her orbs as they stared defiantly at the unknown stallion. No, this mare would be different than what Dahak was used to. Most mares weren't fighters, but than most didn't have the kind of life that Dawn had. She had to fight to survive all her life. A cold laugh escaped vocals at what he said. Oh a sweet meeting at that.
"Shouldn't you be worried about you life? Ah well I think it can be wasted if you want?" She said with a smirk on her features still. When he reared she was ready for him.
Stepping to the side with a bit of slowness, but not that slow she evaded the attack. The move was so old she thought. So when his snap came she kicked out her right back leg intending to get a shoulder with a hoof. It wasn't too hard, but hard enough to be bruised. Sure she play back with his tender, no so tender, game he was going at. She wondered if he would be provoked by her attack back. Most mares would of settled down when the stallion started getting rough.
DAHAK
The scar-spotted mare was quick, he'd give her that. As Dahak had risen up, she was already turning, and he figured he should have known better. He was a traditionalist, so sue him. Ha!
As his hooves met the ground, her hoof met his shoulder, and there was a very nasty shearing into his flesh. Her spaded hoof gashed him pretty good, but the adrenaline was pumping too hard too fast, and Dahak just laughed.
The stallion took it head on and leaned into the leg that had caught his exposed shoulder, pushing her forward to make her stumble. As he removed his shoulder from her hoof, he came up around and raised his hooves to the back of her forelegs, scraping away at them so she'd fall, all the while with an unusually playful smirk on his face.
Dawn
Dawn snickered when her attack met it's target. The sheering was music to her ears as she listened to it. When she felt him leaning her shoulder it made her stumble to the side only. So when his hooves came they only merely scraped her side. So spinning around she bucked kicking out with both back legs as hard as possible aiming for his chest.
"Honey, I think you went too far with this."
