Rowan

This was too much for Rowan to take. Kalaber's family had already taken enough from the children of Tahti. Now they've taken Aurinka and Basil. Rowan had tears in his eyes as he carried his fallen sister and niece to the mountains. Aurinka and Basil were dead. Cold and limp. Aurinka had died defending Rowan, and Basil had died mourning over her mother.

Rowan gently set the two on the ground, being very respectful about it. "Desmon! Des! Come out here!" He cried, stifling the tears.

Artemis

Artemis walked up quietly to Rowan. Her stomach was larger by a lot. She came to stand next to Rowan trying to make her shoulder touch his letting him know she was there. She looked down at the corspe face angry and remorsed. She saw the whole thing happen infront of her like a bullet, and now it was too late to of helped. She watched as he called for some Desmon person. "Rowan maybe it was for the best....Aurinka wouldn't have to suffer anymore, and Basil would never of had to see war and countless other horrible things. Their both in a better place,"she said trying to sooth him some what. Some how, some way she would get revenge for what White Feathers had done she thought. Ideas came to her right away, but she would speak to Rowan about them later.

Desmon

The soft-eyed hybrid had been spending time with his uncles, in particular helping Ninaki with personal matters in the northern portion of the Valley. By the time wind of disaster reached him, it was already too late. Zhenvind had beckoned the Lurker when he learned of the news, and by the time Des reached the mountains, he was panting and heaving for breath. "Row..an, wh..what happ-" His labored words froze the moment he saw the bodies, their lifeless, prone forms striking him like a dagger in the heart. A quiver ran through his body, as a low, tortured whine worked from his wretched throat, "Oh, please... please, no... no..."

Rowan

Rowan looked at Desmon with a pained look. The three-legged white coywolf seemed like he was only half-alive himself. "Desmon...I'm sorry..." Rowan said shakily, his throat tight with a mix of emotions. "White Feathers killed them. There...there was nothing I could do. I'm sorry, Desmon. Aurinka was forgiving of Kalaber's family and this is what she got." He knew that his sisters and alphas, Isabel and Vale, were confronting White Feathers right now. If it was a war the bloodthirsty wolf was asking for, it was a war she'd get. Cold-blooded murders, especially the murders of a mother and pup, were not taken lightly with the Refugees. White Feathers was dancing with death. Now it was time for her to marry it.

Desmon

He didn't seem to hear Rowan at first, staggering forward as he was to all but collapse next to his mate and child, as if he himself had been struck a mortal blow. And in a way... it felt as if he had. "Why, why did he do this... Auri..." The anguished whine rose into a howl, long and tortured as he poured his broken heart to the world.

The rustle of feathers in the wind announced Zhenvend's landing. The large eagle settled himself a few paces away from Rowan, bowing his head lightly before speaking, "Rowan, do you know what caused this? I must report back to Quaidah."

Rowan

Rowan sat down next to Desmon, looking at his deceased sister and niece. He would get back at White Feathers for killing them. He glanced at Desmon, then up at Zhenvend. "White Feathers went crazy. She attacked Aurinka and Basil, then blamed their deaths on me." He took another glance at the fallen hybrids. "We can't let White Feathers' crimes go unpunished. My pack will surely strike back, and the Ancient Guardians are more than welcome to assist us." He was sure his allies wouldn't tolerate the cold-blooded slayings of two of their members - one of which was only a pup.

Artemis

Artemis stayed in the background pretty much. Not sure who the other wolf was, and not sure how she could help. Mainly paying attention to Rowan to make sure he was all right. Soon a bird appeared demanding who did this. A sad frown appeared on her face as she heard what was said.

Soon she felt weird her stomach becomming heavier. She soon realized that her pups we're comming. She looked around in a hurry trying to find a cave. Soon she did find one among some rocks. It went pretty far down, and it was wide at the end. She layed down on her side preparing to give brith. Soon two little fea pups layed beside her. "Nera and Avaire,"she said proudly.

Nera nursed squirming a bit.
