Catalpa

The long-legged she-wolf trecked across a low slope at the bottom of the mountains. After climbing to the top of the slope, she sat back on her haunches and let forth a lonely howl.

Jais

The mostly white wolf had heard the she's howling. He responded with a song of his own, then set forth at a swift pace to meet her. After peeking the slope, he slowed down and paused a few yards from Catalpa with his head low and ears forward. His tail waved faintly to show good intentions. "I'm Jais." he introduced himself.

Catalpa

She padded closer to him, smiling, "I'm Catalpa. I was hoping someone would hear me." she dipped her head down a bit, then lifted it and looked directly into Jais's eyes. Her tail waved a bit as well.

Revolution

Hunter stalked forth from his packlands looking for new members. He found the two talking, and heard what they said. Ignoring the other male he walked right up to the fem. "And I'm Revoution. Catalpa, would you have a home? If not come and join mine, there is only me and one other and we are looking for expand our pack."

Catalpa

She looked to Revolution with an almost sly but innocent look in her eyes. "No, I have no home; not anymore. Where do you live?" Her voice betrayed much interest in this new male, although her expressions looked more or less calm and collected now.

Revolution

He steped fowards more. "I am alpha of the Emerald Pines pack."

Catalpa

"The Emerald Pines?" she said suddenly, looking a bit surprised. "That is the pack below the Silver Glades; my former pack..." she trailed off in thought before her surprised expressions turned once more into calm ones. "I would love to join your pack. But tell me, do you know who the current alphas are of the Silver Glades pack?" she had been kicked out of the pack after loosing a battle with the ill-tempered she-wolf, Cortinarri. But she wasn't inclined to tell any one about this yet.

Jais

He stepped closer to Catalpa while dipping his head down to Revolution, hearing that he was an alpha. But paying no more heed to him, he tried to get Catalpa's attention again, "My brother and sister use to live in the Emerald Pines territory. They were taken by a kodiac bear and raised by her. But they have moved out of there a while ago."

Revolution

He nodded. "It was Cortiniarri, then my friend Manov came and he took the alpha hunter place. Then a she-wolf Seirra I think her name was beat Cortinarri and Manov stepped down from his rank. After awhile they didnt see the she-wolf so now Cortinarri has taken her alpha spot back and Manov is alpha hunter. I al allied with him and a few others from the pack boardering his." He looked over to Jais as he spook. "You can come too if you like."

Catalpa

Catalpa nodded slowly, thinking about what Revolution had said. "Cortinarri and I are definately not on good relations." The wolfess finally noted, "I challenged her for alpha position once when our former alpha, Stormfalcon, dissapeared. She won, to say the least and I was kicked out of the pack and have been a loner since then. But..." she trailed off once more as she pondered things in her mind, "I don't suppose it would be a problem joining your pack, so long as you are friends with the alpha hunter in the Silver Glades. Otherwise, I'd fear our packs would fight."

Catalpa then spoke to Jais a moment, "That's an interesting story! Perhaps you can show me where they lived in the Emerald Pines territory? Maybe they are still there?" she then glanced at Revolution just to make sure he didn't object to this, since it was his territory.

Revolution

The hunter heard a call from the Canyon. "I know we have only knew each other for a little bit, but please come with me! MY friends are going to fight aginst the Shadow Lurkers pack at the Canyon. Please help fight against them, I would greatly appreciate it!" He turned and ran off, hopefully they would follow then after it was over they would come to his pack.

Catalpa

The she-wolf didn't know who the Shadow Lurkers were, but she wanted to live in a pack. With a curious look at Jais, she followed after Revolution to the Canyon.
