Joli

The dainty little african wild dog trotted over the rough terrain, her piercing hazel eyes glancing over the landscape. She was searching for a particular little multi-colored shape, whom she hoped would appear soon. Of course, none other than her little buddy Jack. A loud yip left her vocals as the canine halted momentarily, calling to the male...

Jack/Min

Jack's ears pricked and he spun around when he heard a familiar voice. He peered over a rock to see who was calling him. It was Joli! He hadn't seen her in a while. He raced to her and chirped. "Joli! You found me!" He exclaimed, wagging his tail. His injuries were healing nicely.

Min followed Jack, swishing her tail. "It is a pleasure to see you again." She said to Joli.

"I am helping the Ancient Guardians." Jack informed. "They are fighting against the Shadow Haunters." He didn't want to get to the point too quickly.

Joli

The delicate dog's ears pricked at the sound of a friendly greeting, a familiar chirp to the little female. "Jack! I did- I'm so glad!" She yipped as she darted towards him, little black tail wagging delightedly. "Hello Min, it's good to see you again too." She said smoothly, nodding her head slightly in a cheery greeting. Joli's attention quickly returned to Jack, however, just as he was speaking. A slight bit of confusion clouded the little dog's eyes, and she sat back on her haunches. "So tell me, who are the Ancient Guardians? And the Shadow Haunters?"

Jack

Jack smiled. Everyone could use a friend like Joli. "I'll start off with the Shadow Haunters. They basically want to take over the Valley, taking as many lives as they want in the process. A friend of mine, I believe, is being held captive by them." He paused, then continued. "But the Ancient Guardians are the good guys. They will not let the Haunters get away with stealing what is ours. If we succeed, the Valley will be at peace once more." His white-tipped tail kept wagging as he spoke. "That is why I have offered them my help. I hate to see the Valley and its inhabitants go to waste."

....hellsong.....

He made his way out of the temple, seeing how far he could go before his mother found him. Hellsong turned his eyes upon the two african wild dogs, and narrowed his eyes upon them. He moved silently, the only way he would get anywhere when he was older since he was so big, and said So what are you guys? I was born to fight. He was talking about warriors and guards and such things. The light grey male had his eyes on them, never wavering once.

Jack

Jack turned around to see the pup. He chirped to the youngster, a way of greeting another in African Wild Dog language. "Jack's my name, and I was born to fight as well." He informed, wagging his tail. He was ready for action at all times.

Min

Min smiled at the other. "I am Min, and I am born to Seek and Lie." She replied, speaking in a soft voice. She looked back at Jack and Joli. "Soon, I will go and see if I can get allies."

Joli

As Jack spoke, Joli listened intently, nodding her little head in agreement. Once he finished, she pondered it all for a moment, then smiled. "I'd like to join with you, with the Ancient Guardians, if they'd have me." She yipped softly, wagging her black tail slightly. This might be fun! Dangerous, sure, but fun too. She'd get to hang out with Jack!

At the sound of the approaching pup, the african canine quickly stood up, a friendly chirp being emitted by her as well. "Why hello there! I'm Joli, and, well, I guess I was born to hunt and fight too." Joli said, not quite sure exactly what she was born to do. Huh- weird.

Jack

Jack's face lit up. "Excellent choice!" He said happily. "They'd love to have an animal so strong and brave as you, especially after you saved me." Bringing up the 'incident' made him think of his injuries, but they were completely healed now. "Shall we go into the Temple? It is much warmer in there." He then looked at the pup and smiled, wagging his tail and waiting for Joli to make her decision.

Jack/Min

Jack smiled. "I have an alliance to make with the alpha. His name is Baphomet." He said to Joli. "I think he's in the Temple. Follow me." With that, he turned and walked to the Temple, looking back to make sure Joli was following.

Min nodded to Joli. "It may be warmer in there." She smiled to the female, then followed Jack.
