Darkeyes*Roane*Ramses*Kiana

Crouching low among the rocks and boulders lay four figures, completely still, waiting for more to arrive. They had ten mouths to feed, and needed food.

Four pairs of eyes watched attentively, waiting for something to appear.

*Sheep*

A small herd of big horn sheep were romping around the mountain, jumping gleefully from rock to rock. A younger ram leapt, and as he landed his rock fell. He rolled down down down, landing in a heap at the foot of the mountain. He bleated loudly and stood, but his leg was greatly out of joint. Three females came down from their own rocks, to see what all the commotion was all about.

Moon Phase, Jade, Kismet, Tiamet

Moon phase followed, crouching low once the smells of the sheep met her nares. It wasn't long before the animals were in her sights, and she was beside her mate and children. Her eyes fell on the injured male, eyes narrowing. Even with the injury, the male and his larger horns would be more difficult to take down. Her eyes looked towards her mates, doing her best to give him the reins in this hunt with her eyes alone.

Following Moon Phase was Jade,Tia andKis, all who had adapted to the crouch and followed silently behind. Their eyes fell on the prey scanning in silence.

Darkeyes*Kiana*Roane*Ramses

Darkeyes' keen orbs instantly fell upon the suffering sheep, and made the same calculation his mate had. Wounded, but he still had horns...

He caught his mate's look and read it with ease, sending a look back to her accompanied by gestures with his head. Take the females first. Then we can worry about him.

He remained still for several moments, letting them become completly absorbed in the wounded male before he leapt suddenly from his shelter, fangs trained on the throat of the right-most female.

Kiana and her brothers leapt forward as well, the boys each for the remaining two females, and Kiana to the legs of the one her father grasped.

*sheep*

The sheep closest to Darkeyes and his daughter had been the most absorbed in the male, trying to silence him with a pawing of hooves. She saw him to late and let out a loud bleat as she felt her throat caught. She tried her hardest to jerk away, but found that her leg had been caught by another. Panicking now, the sheep fought as hard as she could, but alas, it was futile. Soon the sheep lay limp in his jaws.

The ram stood, still bleating loudly but by now he was freaking out (sorry, I had to use that term XD) He tried to run, but his leg crumpled beneath him and he fell hard on his shoulder, close to Moonphase.

The other two females, however, may have a chance. One turned and tried to flee up the side of the mountain at the sight of Darkeyes, but as she turned found a wolf there. She turned once more and ran along side the mountain when she felt the fangs of one catching her leg. She tripped up, and went head over heels, sliding down the mountain and landing hard on her side. She got up, but was greatly disoriented. A great chance to get her now.

The second female did the opposite of her counter part. She ran down the mountain, leaping hard away from the wolves but found a hard weight upon her left haunch as one of the brothers caught hold of her. Oh, a fight it would be. She tried to pull away from him, bleating loudly as the others trying to gain help. Hell, there was no help. Sheep were cowards.

Moon Phase, Tiamet, Kismet, Jade

Moon Phase may have chosen to attack one of the females, leaving the injured male for his. But he was too close and with his body down he was an easy target. Without a second thought the fae snapped for the rams neck, doing her best to avoid the massive horns the beast carried.

Jade's eyes fell on the happenings of the hunt. However it was the now disoriented female that caught her attention. With a low growl, the fatale launched herself at the ewe, jaws snapping at the back of the neck, wheer hopefully she would not be seen coming in.

Tia found herself going for the other female, whom her brother already had a hold. With a growl announcing her existance, she leapt for the neck, jaws snapping. She wasn't aiming to kill with the bite, but she was hoping to jerk the sheep down, making her easier prey.

Kis followed his mother, eyes watching the ram. He made his aim for the back of the animal, where hopefully neither horn nor hoof could reach him. And if he placed his jaws right he could hopfully paralyze the sheep.
