Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler returned to the area he had last encountered Carnage and the other large brute. Once again, he felt guilty about being here; if they actually found the duo... it would not be good. To large, aggressive wolves against him and a blind old female? But he trusted in Blind's knowledge. "This is where I last saw them." Night spoke, sniffing at the ground, where their scent was fresh and easy to pick up. "I'm certain she's a relative of Fyre's, but I doubt that will hold any sway over the female. She seemed remorseless and cold."
Blind
She kept her nose to the ground, and moved with Night as if she could see as he did. She halted when she heard him halt, and immediatly murmered "Woe the day when wolves as black as night with eyes the color of hell arrive. They dream of taking over, leading the others as victims, making them slaves." She raised her dial, looking at a point just past Night. "Your right, they did leave. And yes, she is a relative of sorts to Fyre. The male that was with her, he is not from here. A far away place, for the scent of the sea still clings to his pelt. Both are very dark creatures, maybe not even of this world but sent here to do the Dark Lords bidding. This is not good, Night, for they will bring us all down to our knees." She inhaled and said softly "They went to the Prarie..."
Nightcrawler
A shiver ran through him at her words, but a slight growl followed it up, "They will not succeed in their quest." Rarely did he show open defiance to anything, unless he was provoked to protect his family or other innocent lives. This was an occassion that certainly qualified. Worried eyes shifted to Blind, "The prairie? Do you want to pursue them?" He was up for what ever the elder wolf wanted, and was ready hell or high water to protect her from harm, if it came to that.
Blind
"No....If we run into them, they will probably have others with them. We will not be safe. I am not much good help in a fight, I can only fight if there is one other but with so many, I would not be able to hear the one that is against I so it would be against you and all of them. We need to find out there plans though...." She was silent for a moment then said softly "Nightcrawler, I assume by your name that you are black. The two of them, they are black. I think if the legends are true, they will try and gather mainly black wolven. Would you...Would you try and get into the pack? Spy on them, then report back to the Ocotona mountains?" It was a dangerous feat, but just might work. If Nightcrawler pretended to be dark and demonic, he just may have a spot in the pack.
Nightcrawler
He was silent for a long moment, thinking over the plan that Blind offered to him. It went against his very nature to do what she was asking of him, and yet... it could mean the safety of his own pack. Slowly, he began to speak, "I have never tried to be anything that I am not. Yet if I can pull this off, it will be for the benefit of you and the rest of our pack." Night was trying to convince himself that this was the right thing to do, and that there was no other reasonable option. "I will do it, Blind. You are right about my pelt, it is the deepest shade of black and blends in with the shadows of the night. Maybe it will help."
