Kalaber
Kalaber padded through the mountain sides. His nose down to the ground smelling and taking in all the scents around him.He yawned. His tail above his back.he owned galars marsh and sonnet terra.
Faute
He moved through the Croal Mountains with an air of importance. He was the son of Aaka, and most certainly not the kindest hybrid around. His eyes fell upon Kalaber and the white male came forth, making himself known. "Your brave, entering the lands of the Ghost Wolf like that." There was a rumor that had spread across the land about a wolf named Storm Warning that had committed suicide, and had come back from the dead to wait for his dead mate.
Kalaber
"brave?"he raised a brow glancing at the other."i have not seen nor heard of a ghost wolf but i don't care I do not frighten i am an avenger"He said calmly. His eyes held no emotion what so ever.
Faute
He began to circle the pure wolf and said in the same tone that he had heard both his parents use "An Avenger cannot be saved from the undead." His eyes were shadowed with anger, pain, and an unmistakeable desire to kill. The blood of another to flow through his veins, becoming apart of him....The male shivered in extacy just at the thought.
Kalaber
He snorted."The undead can't hurt you unless they have a reason"He snorted and glared at the hybrid."Now what is it you seek for i must continue my recruiting"
Faute
He laughed darkly and said to the male You won't find recruits here, many fear this land because of the large grey male that lurks here. HE kills any that dare enter his domain." Fautes eyes drifted all around him and he grinned darkly "I however, am safe. Hes my uncle." It was true, Storm Warning was indeed brother to Aaka, making him Fautes uncle.
Kalaber
"ah ha"He said rather boredly."I can be here if i want these lands belong to no one im free to roam these lands"He snorted and glared."you know wolves that die here probably die of fright but i do not fear nothing my mother and sister have been killed and my two other sisters brainwashed and im out to kill the wolves who have done this to me"
cavalier
Like a Knight in Shimmering Armor.
A hulking ebony beast broke through the underbrush; little twigs and leaves sticking to his thick winter pelt. The captain's nose was to the ground in a frantic search for none other than Kalaber. A soft winter breeze rolled over the brute as he continued on, his paws softly striking the frozen ground beneath him.
Cavalier looked up abruptly when he caught a strong trail, his translucent blue eyes shifting side to side. The youthful adult caught the familiar form of Kalaber and furrowed his brow warily when he saw his present companion. He had been sent off with dire orders from his father, Blazed, to track down the vengeful adolescence. Kalaber's safety wasn't the main concern, as the Shadow Haunters had let him escape when they had killed his mother and Palatina; it was what they planned to do with the surviving heir to Crucified's holdings. Neither Cav nor Blazed wanted to know. Right now, Cavalier was to only keep tabs on Kalaber.
With a finalizing sigh, Cav strode forward a few paces then sat back on his haunches, in plain view, his eerie blue orbs sweeping over Kalaber and his surroundings. As he sat there, stolid against the winter wind, the male wondered how Kalaber would react to his presence. Cav and his family had failed to come to their rescue, as they had promised. For what it was worth, they were all sorry, as sorry as a battle hardened group like them could get. They grew up with death and lived with it day and day out, they had suppressed mournful emotions deep within themselves until they cold no longer feel them. The only one acting rather strange over the recent occurrence was Blazed. Cavalier's father was in a mad rage, angry with himself, and spouting oaths of revenge left and right. It was downright disturbing and Cav was glad to be away from it.
Kalaber
He continued glaring but then his nose picked up a scent and it was something oh so familiar. He turned his head and spotted cavalier. His mind race was he familiar because he was an allie or enemy. He growled lightly unsure of which one he was it had been so long.
Faute
His eyes shifted to Cavalier and the white males eyes narrowed. He spoke no more words, only making sure that Cav didn't attack him. He wasn't the enemy, indeed, he was a friend of Crucifieds, father of Kalaber. The male smirked at the other two, then sat down glaring hard at Kalaber. Even he over there knows not to disturb the dead. Disturb the dead, beware of their wrath. But their are others running around that you need to fear. The male stood and stared hard at Cavalier now. I have much information, for the both of you. You who seek to avenge your mothers and sisters death, I can help you. And you, guilt ridden by not saving them? I can help ease that as well. But you would both need to trust me....Or perish. He wasn't kidding, all the information he had gathered during the past few days would fill a few books if he told it all. These two could greatly benefit from the white male, but at what price?
Kalaber
Now he knew who cav was but then he heard fautes words. He turned completly to faute."how can you help me?"He said his ears now up.
cavalier
Cavalier's blue eyes narrowed fiercely as he moved his large arctic form forward, ears up, drinking in Faute's words. The adult came to a stop near Kalaber and Faute while consciously maintaining a respectful distance from each wolf. Was there truth behind Faute's words? Did he really know things of the Shadow Haunters many other did not? Cav was definitely not one to give the benefit of the doubt to anyone, but to make things right, he was going to go out on a limb here, try something new. The male sat casually back on his haunches once more, a keen light shinning in his eyes as he held Faute's stony gaze. It was a good thing Blazed was not here. His father would surely jump at Faute's throat, positive he was a Shadow Haunter. With somewhat of a shrug (if wolves can shrug), Cavalier threw a nonchalant glance Kalaber's way then returned to his emotionless façade. He was opting to hear him out.
"You've got my attention."
Faute///Belial
A dark grin spread across his maw as he sat down, his eyes drifting all around them. "The Shadow Haunters are having....Difficulties. There are to lead females, and both want power over the other. It certainly does not help that they both want the other dead. So, you could pressure them. Make them fight one another, then they will be weakened once one is killed and the ranks will be uncertain of their loyalty. Do they go with the one who has been leading, Risen? Or do they go with the silent leader who rules with an iron paw, Hidden Betrayal? See, Betrayal would be who you want to win. Risen is out to kill any who oppose her. Betrayal is out for revenge." He grinned at the two and then said "My name is Faute, but many call me Belial." His gaze flickered to Kalaber and that dark grin turned to a most venomous smirk "You are Crucifieds son, for you look much like him. But you, Ice One, I do not know." His gaze turned to Cavalier now and he stared hard at the males forehead. HE didn't want to offend this male, for he was much larger then the not fully grown hybrid. Best to stay on his good side. "But its not the Shadow Haunters that you need to fear. There is another pack, this one out to kill everyone that opposes them but they are not like the Haunters. They....Are not normal wolves. Their is something about them that is much more fearsome then the Haunters."
Kalaber
He listened more intently. So they were having trouble? "indeed my name is kalaber"He said.He would go for hidden betrayle o win anyways risen was the one that led the group and helped kidnap his family
