Fyre
The black pup, with the stunning reddish eyes of his late great grandmother, was totally lost. He had run from the Ochotona lands in an attempt to locate where Drac was. He was in the right general areas, but there were so many ridges, chasms, and cliffs that it was like navigating a maze. And at six months of age, he was far too young to track or find his way around this unfamiliar territory.
At a loss for what to do, Fyre began to howl as loud as he could, hoping his parents might hear him.
Disturbed
It had been many moons since I had last seen dear Black Fyre, but that was alright. I was a loner anyways. The sound of howling catches my dark auds and a demonic growl arises from deep within my black chest. Silently, I stalk towards Fyre, my black pelt shimmering against the white snow. My eyes are what scares everyone, for indeed they are quite odd. Red, not so uncommon. But streaks of blue shoot from the iris and reach the outer edges as if they were shoots of lightning. A snarl erupts from my chest as I say to the younger male. "Watch who you call, pup. You never know what monster lurks near by." And right now, that monster is me for I surely am not a force to reckon with. My temper, its unmatched. My strength, its like battling a thousand wolves. I take another step towards Fyre, my eyes seeming alight the blue seeming to shimmer and making it appear as if there were figures dancing in those red eyes of mine. I was large, massive in fact and there was an accent to my voice but I was getting better at hiding it. I had come from Translvania, and it was said that I, the great Disturbed, was the Dracula in his wolf form and forever I was stuck as a wolf. Well, at least I think I am. I've never tried to turn into a bat, but anyways thats why I'm here now is because humans in Translvania had begun to fear the wolf that ate human flesh and drained their blood. A trick I had leared. Maybe thats why they called me the great vampire wolf, for I always went for the throat. Ha ha, and now Fyre was here, a possible victim. How fun. Wicked amusement danced in my orbs as I watch the male, waiting for his response.
Fyre
Dark fur bristled along his spine and neck and prickled up over his lanky tail. He was far from the magnificent form he would be in adult hood, but he was quite the spitting image of Black Fyre. And he had a brave, tenacious attiude to match. "Who are you?" Fyre questioned hesitantly, trying to hide the fear that strained his voice and kept his heart pounding at a lightning-fast rate. The youngster stood his ground, but had enough sense to pull his ears back and crouch closer to the ground in face of this much larger canine.
Disturbed
My crimson blue eyes follow the litle male and a sinister smile crosses my dark lips. "I am Disturbed." The males fear showed in his eyes and I couldn't supress the sinister smile from growing until my lip curled into a silent snarl. I could see Black Fyre in the little male, but I wouldn't speak of it. I watch the little male, and say in my most sinister voice "And what do you call yourself, child?" I take another step forward, beginning to invade his personal space. My eyes are on his, as unerving as ever.
Enough, Come on Get Down With The Sickness
Fyre
A shiver runs down his spine, sending a prickle of little hairs standing up. Still he remains poised to show his determination and 'toughness', so the youngster doesn't back down... yet. "My parents named me Fyre." He replied, a touch of fear adding a slight tremble to his voice, despite his best efforts to keep it steady. Red orbs remain focused on Disturbed, growing wider as he steps forward into his personal area. "There's humans around." Fyre added suddenly, and rather bluntly. An attempt to try and add fear to the other, or at least distract him somewhat.
D.isturbed
I laugh darkly at the small pup, my eyes fire bright. "How do you know that they didn't send me to come eat you, young Fyre?" I eyed the pup speculativly. He would be a most interesting prey, but I had just eaten, luckily for Fyre. I continue to glare down at the pup, blue tinted orbs demonic and fiery in their glory. Could I eat him? If I wanted. Now wouldn't that be fun. But, for every bad thing done there is someone out there who would want revenge and those red eyes of his reminded me of those of Black Fyre, a dear friend of mine.
Fyre
Crimson orbs blinked uncertainly into the blue spheres of his tormentor, fighting to remain brave- though it seemed a foolhardy mission. For a moment, he was at loss for a reply to those chilling words, and only a faultering snarl was issued from his little throat. "You won't eat me." He spat out after a moment, his words almost in challenge to Disturbed. My parents will be here any minute, then you'll be sorry for- for being mean to me!" Not the quickest on his choice of speech, but that would come with experience.
Nightcrawler
As a winter storm was raging into the Valley, Night lost track of the youngster he was put in charge of. He was worried that neither Dusty nor Jessie had shown up yet. Or Drac. It made him all the more desperate to find and retreive Fyre, before he might run into the hunters like his brother had.
A keen nose finally led the midnight wolf along the mountain range, where a second odor struck him. An unknown brute. Keeping a neutral stance as he approached the scene, Nightcrawler barked lightly, "Fyre, we need to get back home. A storm is coming- possibly a blizzard." Stunning yellow orbs flickered beifly to Disturbed, whom Night was uncertain about. He hadn't heard the conversation between the two, but Fyre looked scared enough, and Disturbed... well, he didn't look all that friendly.
Black Frye
Black Frye had been gone for a length of time she wasn't proud of. But it hadn't been her choice. Her ancestors had spoken to her, and she just followed their call. She would soon have to start going by the name they had picked for her. But she wasn't ready yet. In the distance she caught sight of three wolves. She caught their scents on the slight breeze and instantly picked out the scent of her late aunts blood line and Disturbed. The third scent was unknown to her. She kept her leisurly pace, not wanting to act like she was exciting about seeing Disturbed again. But the blood in her veins had begun to circulate at a much faster pace. The only wolf she had bee nable to truely get along with.
Something else was in the air as well. A storm. A cold one. The cold wind ruffled her now much thicker fur and she still felt it's chill. She knew she wouldn't walk up to the group unnoticed, Disturbed wasn't stupid enough to be snuck up on anyways. The closer she came, she saw with clear vision the young wolf. He had the same red eyes and coat as she did. A relative...she hadn't known her aunt had relatives in this land. she stopped as she stood next to Disturbed. She flashed him a quick glance and a twitch of an ear as she acknowledged his existance. She then gave a slightly sinister glance at the young pup. She then looked at Nightcrawler before returning her gaze to the youngster. Yet she said nothing.
Nightcrawler
The ebony wolf did a touble take when Black Fyre approached. He knew the old Black Fyre to a degree, and had learned that she died... some time ago. For a moment, he was too startled to do anything until his mind conceived an explanation for this bizzare scene- she must be a relative of the old Black Fyre. And a close one, at that. Relative or not, Night didn't like the look she was giving to Fyre. His ears went back in a signal that he didn't wish to fight, but his fangs were shown just slightly in warning, "We don't want any trouble. We were just on our way back home." The wolf explained quietly, gauging both wolves uncertainly, hoping they wouldn't try anything.
Fyre
A growl rose in his throat as he continued to glare defiantly at Disturbed, and then to Black Fyre as she joined in. He never knew his great grandmother, so his first impression of this fae was nothing surprising. If only his uncle Niavo were here to see this... but he was off on a rescue mission to save one of his pack's pups that had been stolen by humans. "We aren't going home yet, we're going to save my brother and parents!" He spat out, looking now to Nightcrawler with fury and determination, "We can't leave them behind!"
Disturbed
"Ah, but whose going to save you little boy?" I asked him. With Black Fyre by my side, I was invincible. Well, at least thats what I thought. Another threatening step was taken towards Fyre and Nightcrawler, the sinister smirk still in place. My eyes drifted from one to the other, which to kill, which to kill. Which would live another day? Or...Well actually they could both die. I'm sure Black Fyre wouldn't mind killing the other. Even if this was her nephew, or grandson, whatever the hell he was. I lick my lips and a low growl arises from my throat. "Run, child while you still have the chance." I was massive compared to everyone here, having come from a distant country and selective breeding.
Nightcrawler
Baring his fangs moreso, Night stepped over the pup defensively as his ruff plumed out to add size to his otherwise small, lithe frame. He realized that taking on Disturbed wouldn't be a fair fight, given the other's size, so it was imperative that he ended this fued before it came to bloodshed. If at all possible. "If you attack him, you will have our pack to face. I ask you to think hard before you do anything foolish." Nightcrawler said lightly, no growl or snarl tainting his words. But they were still serious and warning in their tone, quiet as they may be.
Carnage(black frye)
All was silent at first, until Distrbed spoke. As he stepped foreward she pinned her ears back. Not at Disturbed, but at Nightcrawler. She lowered her head, she could already feel a fight brewing.
"I don't think one measly pack is going to do you much good."
Not with the plan that Carnage had in her head. Oh no, one measly pack would be like an ant on the ground where a herd of horses was running. Lucky if it survived the stampede. Carnage pulled her lips back and let out a snarl her red eyes glaring.
Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler took a step back, bringing his head lower as he nudged Fyre back with him. It was also a defensive move, to shield the youngster from any sudden attacks from these two adults. "Listen, I don't want a fight." He stated in a stern voice, sharp eyes focusing briefly on the red glare of Carnage, to show he was utterly serious. Yet his gaze quickly shifted to the center of her muzzle, for he didn't want to provoke any uneeded aggression from her. Even though it seemed too late for that. "If you come any closer, I will have forced me to fight with you. Please, stay your ground and let us leave without trouble."
Disturbed
A sharp bark of laughter escaped my lips and I took a step towards Night Crawler now. "Aww, that just breaks our little black hearts, doesn't it Fyre?" I say in a tone as dark as the deepest pits of hell. I lick my lips, my red blue eyes dancing demonically. "Now let me think about this. Theres two of us, me being much bigger then you, and only one of you with a small child. Hmmm, gee I don't know who would win. How about you, darling?" I say, speaking to them both now. My eyes are over bright, the thrill of the kill rushing through my very veins.
Nightcrawler
Fyre. The name made him flash his yellow orbs to Carnage in silent question. Was this really some relative of the old Black Fyre, who bore- or use to bear, her namesake, just as little Fyre did now? Or was it all a wild coincidence? Whether little Fyre was related to this ill-tempered female or not, Nightcrawler figured it made little difference to her, so he decided against playing on her sympathy.
Night almost rushed at Disturbed, but held himself back as he realized it would leave Fyre open to attack from Carnage. Instead, he took another step back, drawing Fyre along with him before speaking again. Suddenly, he threw his muzzle up and sent a sharp, desperate howl into the air, hoping that his packmates would hear. What has the world come too? He thought dismally to himself as he tried to stall the fight by speaking again, "The odds will turn against you soon enough. I ask again, save yourself the trouble and stand back! We will be on our way and out of your lives, if you'd just leave us be!"
Carnage
"I would suggest that you leave fast."
Carnage said with a growl her teeth showing.
"Before I kill the little runt when I decide he's going to be troublesome to me."
Even though Frye was family, didn't mean she would spare him. The only family she would spare would be her own pups. Her own true flesh and blood. Unless of course they threatened her position. Then they would be gone. Carnage only held a small amount of sympathy and the only wolf to have most likely seen a spark of it or would be the only one, would be Disturbed. The only wolf she had come to truely trust so far.
"Though let me tell you, its going to be very hard to stay out our lives."
Nightcrawler
His eyes dropped lower when she decided not to attack. For a moment, his yellow orbs flickered up to look briefly to hers, "Thank you." The words were quiet, almost inaudible, for he knew that they meant nothing to a wolf as consumed by hatred and evil as this one seemed to be. Taking Fyre up by the scruff before the youngster might choose to continue his search for his parents, Night headed back to the pack lands. The last words of Carnage had disturbed him quite a bit, though he knew not what they meant.
