Adulthi
The hybrid cat was running as fast as her massive paws could carry her, but energy was waning fast. A bright trail of blood marked her path in the trampled snow, and stained her light tawny coat where three bullets had tore into her frame. One in her chest, one in her hind leg, and the other in her back.
Finally, the big cat could go no further. Her legs collapsed beneath her and she crumpled to the earth next to a small juniper tree. Crimson blood speckled her jaws and trickled from her wide nose, hinting at the damage that the bullets had caused within her. Wearily, Adulthi tucked her legs under her and let her head fall heavily into the snow. She tried to hide her body under the skimpy branches of the juniper, but it was fuetile. Besides, there was a clear track in the snow of her paw prints, and and even more striking trail of her blood.
Blitzkrieg
The chestnut stallion followed the blood to the cat. Snorting he rose his head not afraid he said very rudely "I Thought Cats Were Stronger Than Horses, Atleast In Their Eyes." He stomped one hoof in the snow before speaking again this time not as cold "Blitzkrieg, and your welcome to come to my territory." He knew that if he helped her likewise she would help him. Atleast he hoped so, if not he'll beat her to death.
Adulthi
She lifted her head from the snow, pale silver eyes sizing up the stallion with ears laced back, "Against humans, horses and cats fall equally weak against their weapons." Mustering her strength, the feline pulled herself up to a weak sitting position, contemplating his offer. "Blitz, is it? Where do you live?" Adulthi asked, withholding her name for the time being, for she didn't readily trust the equine. Her ears came up a bit as she listened for the humans. No doubt they would be landing their plane and following her blood trail.
Al Sheratan
Her eyes on the two, the white equine made her prescence known with a soft snort. She came up behind Adulthi and placed the cat between her two front hooves in a protective manner. Her deep black orbs were on Blitz and the tiny mare said "We animals stick together, no matter what." She made it sound as if her and Adulthi were friends when in reality the two had never met. But she had just spoken her words of wisdom, animals of great and small were needed to band together against the humans. Compared to Blitz, Al Sheratan appeared miniature but Sheratan didn't care. She was eight hundred pounds of checked fury.
Adulthi
In no condition to put up a fight, Adulthi remained perfectly still when Al arrived. Although her uncle favored horse meat, and her grandmother killed equines on occassion, Adulthi was surprisingly open-minded about most creatures. Generally, she tried not to befriend those species that were potential prey, but... she had the gentle nature of her mother in her, and the knack for acceptance that her father had. Breathing in a quick raspy voice, her large, light eyes looked upward at the mare, "If you help me, I swear, I will do... I will do anything!" Her voice was desperate, pleading. She knew the humans would be coming soon, they always did. And even if the equines could somehow distract the humans... Adulthi knew she needed food and shelter until she could heal from the wounds. It was an odd alliance to strike up, but in the face of humans, she really didn't care.
