Rowan
The war between the Refugees and their enemies had really taken a toll on Rowan. Even worse was that his mother was murdered by Black Plaque and his father had gotten amnesia after an attempted murder by Death Guardian. This tortured the young beta male every moment of his life. He felt as if he was losing control. He was.
The three-legged coywolf walked to the shadows near the doorway to the Hospital. He stared into the waiting room with an eerie, leering look. He knew what he was here for. He was here to hunt. Quickly putting on a show, he fake-limped into view, whimpering pitifully, falling all over the place and looking hopelessly at everybody who passed. He gave off the air that he was dying.

Artemis
Artemis was hiding in the shadows of some bushes not to far from the doorway and Rowan. She didn't notice him till she heard whining. Looking up she wondered what had gotten into his fool headed wolf mind. Angerly she wanted to yell at him to shut up, but decided it wasn't worth her time. Right now she was thinking of ways to torment others. That was her passion to tear others apart. Rembering how she had murdered her parents when she had gotten older. She licked her chops still rembering their blood. The only one who had gotten away was her brother.
She was the stalker of the night. Being born with the colors of the night, and being born with eerie yellow eyes had been the highlights of her making. Some just looked at her, and trembled with fear. Her aurora had shouted nothing, but a killing machine. Tearing others apart slowly instead of killing them painlessly. Hearing there cries of pain had been her dessert. Torment was her kind of thing.
Now she wondering what this wolf looking thing with three legs was up to. She wondered if she could maybe kill him easily, but something held her back. Something told her to wait so she did.
Rowan
The coywolf looked at Artemis, those dark eyes of his seeming to bore into her flesh. "What do you want with the firstborn son of Tahti and Windsong, she-beast?" He snarled, his ears pinned against his head. "Why do you stop and stare?"
Artemis
Artemis watched as the male spotted her. When he spoke her ears perked forward. However when he was done they rested upon her head. "Wondering what your playing at stranger,"she said voice emotionless, but still sounded like a angel spoke. Debating whether to tell him her name or not. Making up her mind deciding there couldn't be any harm in it. "My name's Artemis after the cold, dark moon,"she spoke once again. She had a voice like the wind, and she used it to build up others fear. Standing she waited for a answer her black coat blending in the shadows. She wondered if he could see that her shoulders were tensed in the shadows.
Rowan
Rowan showed no signs of emotion. He wasn't going to be put up with being sassed by this wolfess. "I am Rowan, named after nothing in particular." He said dully. "I am the start of the revolution. I am the son of Tahti, the Steadfast Refugee Vanguard, and Windsong, the White Devil." She grinned a bit. "I'm here to hunt."
Artemis
Artemis ears perked once again as he told her his parents. She had never heard of them being new and all, but could sense they played a big part in this valley. "My parents used to be loners, but now their dead,"she said not saying how they died. She didn't want to talk about it right now. "Isn't it a little hard for you to hunt,"she asked indicating his three legs quietly. She wasn't trying to be rude just yet, but simply curious. She was debating whether to offer her assistance or not though. She didn't know this, and more importantly if she could trust him one bit. Next thing she could know he be snapping at her throat when she least expected it.
Rowan
Rowan pinned his ears back against his head. "What are you implying? Are you saying I can't hunt because I have three legs? I can hunt damn well as anyone else, for your information." He protested. It was true. He got around fine. Just as well as any canine.
Artemis
Artemis narrowed her eyes. "I wasn't trying to insult you. I was simply going to offer to help if you needed another wolf to hunt with, but i guess not huh,"she said sitting down. Ears against her head she waited for him to answer. Eeri yellow orbs watched him wondering what was going through his head as she said that. Waiting for Rowan to answer her she wondered how he got the three legs, but didn't ask at the moment.
Rowan
Rowan looked away in an annoyed huff. "Well you did insult me, with your insensitivity." He grumbled. He was born this way, with three legs. He hadn't ever known anything else. "Listen, girl. I hunt alone. I'm a loner. I don't do well with others unless it's my brothers or sisters." The white wolf looked back through the doors of the hospital.
Artemis
Artemis said nothing as Rowan spoke. Her pelt bristled though as she angerly looked at him. "I was only offering to help hunt. Unfourtantly I have no siblings so I wouldn't know what it felt like,"she lied in her musical voice. After all he wouldn't know the truth and she was a good lier. Her eyes and voice held no emotions as she said this.
Truth was she didn't care if her brother was still alive or not. They both wanted the other dead due to what Artemis did to their parents. She remained sitting in the shadows muscles tense as she waited for him to answer or just go away. It wouldn't hurt her if he did.
Wondering why she just didn't leave or insult the brute. Why not even attack him? She was so confused. She knew it wasn't pity for his legs. She never felt sorry for others. She figured everyone was blessed for what they had or looked like. She knew she was belessed for apperences. Her good b uild and abilities too. As well as her cunningness. So why didn't she react to this brute like she had so many other wolves? She wondered if it was becuase of her brother. No, she thought than I would of attacked him for sure.
