Katy Lark
Katy stumbled through the hospital doors. Her white fingers were gripping her wrist and a trail of crimson blood dripped through her fingers. Her face was a paled version of what it was usually, she coughed out one word before collapsing to the cold tile floor. Her black hair curled down her back and trails of eyeliner rolled down her cheeks mixing with tears. She wore a plaid skirt and tall black combat boots along with a white shirt.
“Help.”
She sat there on the floor as patients and nurses pasted, a few times she reached out towards people but they backed away. Was she really that repulsive? That not even people who worked here would help her. Finally realizing her wrist she sat as blood poured from a deep cut. In a matter of a minute her shirt was drenched in the red liquid.
Her memory searched franticly for an explanation as to what had happened but came up blank. One second she was in her car and the next she was stumbling through the doors. Katy’s mouth went dry from blood loss and she could feel her head get dizzier by the moment. If no one helped her she would die on this floor, in a sea of faces…
“Please… Somebody, Help me.”
