Natalie

She hadn't called her brother, like she knew she should, but she was just to stubburn. And scared. Oh god, was she scared. She tried to keep the tears out of her eyes as she climbed out of her car, but then another contraction hit. With a cry, she leaned against the vehicle and panted heavily waiting it out. the baby was coming and it was coming now. She finally made her way inside, and one of the nurses caught her. I need a doctor! Came the nurses cry. It was only her first day, why was this girl coming in now?! She led Natalie into a room, right next to Ryans, and waited for a doctor.

It wasn't long before Natalie birthed a daughter. The baby had white blonde hair, just like her daddy and his same icy blue eyes.

Ryan Sohmers

Hobbling out of his room, Ryan leaned against the wall for support and tried to listen to what was going on in the room next to his. He felt a bit akward standing in the hall like that, but he was certain that he had heard his sister's voice just a few moments ago.

If he thought he had felt sick to his stomach before, he really felt so right now. Horrible scenerios flashed through his mind, of Natalie either shot, or stabbed, or... no, he couldn't let his mind wonder those dark paths. Hell, he could have just imagined he heard her voice, right? She was perfectly fine, right? It was just some random stranger in the room next to his... and, oh god! It sounded like she was having a baby! And now there was no doubt; it was Natalie's voice he heard.

Ryan almost rushed into the room, but had second thoughts. After their last fight, he wasn't so sure that she'd be happy to see him at a time like this. Half of him wanted to go in their and comfort her, but the other half of him said to wait. And so he waited, until it sounded like things had calmed down.

Slowly, almost hesitantly, Ryan eased the door opened and peeked inside. A bright smile crossed his face when he saw his sister and his new little neice. Using the wall for a brace, he hobbled into the room on his half-numb foot, almost forgetting about the whole ordeal as his thoughts focused on his sister and neice. "Natalie, congratulations." Ryan said softly as he sat down in a chair next to her bed. "Hey, Sis..." He took a deep breath, looking down for a moment before turning his eyes to her, "...I'm sorry about yelling at you. I should have been supportive, and I was - I was anything but that. I'm really sorry."
