Kristi looked at him. She had already taken the tack off Sacred. ''No thanks. I really am fine the way I am'' she said. She walked down to the truck. Getting in she waited for him. Once he was in and ready she looked out the window. The music was low but she could hear it. She looked at the radio and turned it up a little. She listened as the next song came on. ''Ive herd that youve settle down. That youve found a girl. That youve found a girl and your married now. Ive herd that your dreams came true. She gave you what I couldnt give to you. Old friend why you so shy. Aint like you to hold back....'' she repeated the words singing. She was good at singing, sounded almost like Adele. She looked at Luke while singing. She turned it down after the song and looked at him. ''What do you think?'' she asked. ''About my singing?'' she said. She looked at him and then at the radio.

Luke had brought Kristi the towel out just in case she did decide she wanted it any way. Once in the truck, he put it in drive and pulled out of the driveway from the stables. He turned in the direction of his sisters' ranch. As they traveled down the dirt road you could see the cattle in pastures along the road, all of those cattle belonged to his sisters. He then heard the radio being turned up and Kristi began to sing along. She sounded good, he had to admit that. Once the song ended, Kristi looked to him and asked what he thought. He grinned and responded. You're really good. He was truly complementing her. After a moment they got near enough to see the horses in the pasture. All the cattle we have been passing belong to the girls, and these are the pastures where they keep the mares. He explained as they passed them and pulled up to the house. Well, here we are. Be careful when you get out, they have a mess of dogs. But they're all friendly. He put the truck in park and got out.

As soon as the truck had stopped, all of the dogs came running up to it. There were about a dozen of them of all different breeds. They were followed by two girls. The first was a brunette, she wore short jean shorts and a tank top. The second was a blonde who was wearing a pair of jeans and a cami. They greeted Luke and then he spoke. These are my sisters Kayla and Bethany. The girls smiled and Kayla spoke Nice to meet ya!

She got out. As she saw all the dogs she was surprised by a lot, she had at least expected 6. She smiled ''Nice to meet ya'll too, Im Kristi.'' she said. Making her way through the dogs. Being careful not to hurt any of the dogs. She smiled. Looking around as she did. Well, it was much bigger then her old ranch down at her home town. She looked at Luke and then his sisters Kayla and Bethany. She herself was wearing tight jeans and a bikini top. She put her thumbs in her front pockets and looked at them.

After Kristi had responded saying it was nice to meet them both girls nodded. Then Kayla spoke So, Luke, if you wanna show Kristi around while we get the grill going you can. They didn't want to sound rude at all and they wouldn't mind showing this girl around but she was Luke's friend and they didn't want to crowd her.

Luke nodded as his sisters spoke, he didn't mind showing Kristi around at all. And he knew this place as well as anyone. Sure, you ready for a tour? He asked as he pet the dogs that were closest to him. Among them were two Great Danes, two heavily pregnant Australian Shepherds, two Icelandic Sheepdogs, an older hound dog, a Bassett Hound puppy, a Rottweiler puppy, a Pit Bull, a Pharoah Hound, and an Anatolian Shepherd.

Her stomach growled at the word 'grill'. She looked at Luke ''Sure, im ready for just about anything right now. Especially eating.'' she said. She petted some of the dogs around her and looked at Luke. She started walking beside him as they went. She turned and waited for him. She looked down at her boots, her jeans tucked in and her boots laced up. She looked back up at him and smiled.

Luke nodded as Kristi said she was ready for anything and then he headed off towards the first stable he spoke as they walked. There are three stables here, the first one is the stallion barn, it holds thirty horses. There are only fifteen being housed there right now, though. He walked into the stallion barn and told her a little about each stallion as they went through. There were seven Quarter Horses, two Arabians, a Thoroughbred, four American Paints, and an American Mustang. They were all different colors. After the tour of the stallion barn was over he led her to the mare barn. The next is the mare barn, it holds fifty mares along with the occasional gelding. There are currently twenty-five, and eleven of those have foals with them for a total of fourteen foals. He showed them each of the mares and foals. Then he waited to see if she had any questions. There is also another stable for boarders but it's empty right now.

She followed him. Looking in each of the stables with horses in them. She kept following but had remembered in the Stallion barn she had called for High Voltage. She looked at him as they finished. ''Can we go back to the Stallion barn? I called a few weeks ago for High Voltage and havent been able to pick him up'' she said. She looked back at the Stallions barn and then back at Luke.

Luke listened as Kristi spoke, asking about High Voltage. It took him a moment to think of which one was High Voltage. Then he remembered, he wasn't a stallion but one of the colts. Actually, Volt is one of the foals that I told you about. I'll show you where he is. I believe they are all just about ready to go anyway, if you are still interested in him. He led her to the stall with a pretty palomino tobiano mare and a bay overo colt who had one blue and one brown eye. This is him and his mother is Revlon. The father is Reaper, the black and white stallion you saw in the stallion barn.

She followed Luke. Her eyes sparkled when she saw the mare and colt. She smiled and looked at Luke ''Im still interested in Volt. Ill take him when hes ready'' she said. She looked again at Volt and the mare, Revlon. She looked at Luke ''Is there more. If there is more we can continue or we can go help with lunch if you want?'' she said. She realized she hadnt eaten that much today and was starving. She waited for an answer looking back at Volt and Revlon.

He grinned as she said that she would still take the little stud colt. The colt had potential but they couldn't keep them all. If you tried to do that then you would quickly end up broke. Though, he knew his sisters were keeping most of the foals from this year. Kristi then asked if there was anything else that he wanted to show her and he shook his head. Not really, unless you wanted to see the boarding stable. But I figure the girls probably have lunch just about done if you wanna head up to the house? He started towards the door of the stable and then towards the house looking back to see if Kristi was following.

She took one more look at Volt and the mare before following. She followed him up to the house. She still only had her jeans and bikini top on. She was hungry though. Since she had 'forgot' to eat breakfast. She followed up to the house and looked at what was for lunch.

Luke led the way up to the house and much to his enjoyment, he saw that lunch was already finished. And his twin brother had made it back to the ranch. The two weren't identical twins but they looked very similar still. Laid out on the big table was all kinds of food. That was one thing about them. If they were going to make a big meal and invite the whole family over then they did it right. His stomach growled a bit as the smell of the food reached his nostrils. He grabbed a plate and handed one to Kristi. Help yourself... The girls also grabbed a plate and Bethany spoke up. Kristi, this is Matt, our other brother since it seems both of these boys have forgotten their up-bringing. Matt tipped his hat to her in the typical old fashioned cowboy greeting.

She took the plate as Luke handed her one. She looked over at Matt and nodded. ''Nice to meet you'' she said. She sorta resisted the urge to laugh a little as Bethany said both of the boys had forgotten their up-bringing's. She started to fill her plate with what they had set on the table. She was holding her plate with two hands so she wouldnt spill any of it by the time she was done filling her plate. She looked around and then smiled. She felt like she was at home. This was how it had always been. Til he father died and soon after her mother and then Jake was the only one taking care of their little brothers while Kristi traveled. She puit the thoughts in the back of her mind while here though they might come and go if Luke's family was anything like hers.

Kayla did chuckle a bit as her younger sister spoke of the boys forgetting their up-bringings and she spoke as well in joking tones. Yeah, you just can't do anything with these two. I don't know how momma ever took them anywhere, can't teach them anything about manners. Of course, her words were spoken in a way that wouldn't offend anyone and everyone would know she was just joking. Matt raised an eyebrow as he spoke now. You would be one to talk. I seem to recall many times she had to remind you of your manners. Kayla put a mock pouty look on her pretty features and responded. Well at least I learned now! She then promptly stuck her tongue out at him and all of the rest of the Andersons just chuckled. Luke looked to Kristi and spoke. I apologize for this bunch of animals. He spoke also in a joking tone. They were a close family and anyone could tell that.

She laughed a little at the two. ''No need. It reminds me of home. When all of my family were together. Your lucky Luke. I have only my brothers left of my family. Nothing else and nothing more. Its sad. I dont keep in touch with my brothers that much. Like I said it reminds me of home even when we had our own ranch and all'' she said. She looked at her plate and then at Luke, but couldnt bare not to show sadness in her eyes. She missed her momma a papa but she could never see them again since they were gone. Dead. She smiled a little. Thats when her phone rang. She took it out of her pocket, setting her plate down. ''Sorry, its my brothers for once. Ill be right outside.'' she said. Stepping out the door and on the porch. She answered the phone.

She came back in. She looked like she had been crying. Which she had. She wiped her eyes and put her phone back in her pocket. Her brothers were in separate places now. One lived at the Corral one lived down town and the other was living with a friend. ''Guess thats the last time we'll be together'' she whispered. She sat next to her plate on the table. ''Sorry about that.'' she said. She looked at Luke. Another tear rolled down the side of her cheek.

Luke could see the sadness in her eyes as she spoke to him. She said that he was lucky and he nodded in agreement. He was indeed a lucky guy. Sure, he hadn't found him the right girl to settle down with yet but at least he had his family. He didn't know what to say to make her feel better and he wondered if maybe it was a bad idea to bring her here. Not that he didn't want he to meet his family, but he just hadn't meant to make her feel bad. Before he could say anything, though, her phone rang and she excused herself. He talked with Kayla, Matt, and Bethany while Kristi was outside. Then she came back inside and her eyes were red and puffy, it was obvious she was crying. She whispered something he didn't understand and then apologized. Don't apologize, what's wrong darlin'? He hoped he wasn't being pushy but he hated to see ladies cry and wanted to make her feel better. His siblings excused themselves so that Luke could talk to Kristi alone. They didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

She looked at Luke ''My brothers, their- my brothers and me arent together anymore. Since im usually traveling I dont have time to spend with them. My brother thats the same age as me lives at the Corral. My brother who is 16 lives down town and my other brother who's 15 lives with one of his friends. Jake said he hadnt talked to Will or Daniel since they all moved out of the house we had been in for a while like my whole life. Now, I not just me but my btothers also. Have no family.'' She said. She looked at her feet and then back up at Luke ''I never thought my family would be the one to go through that. I feel like its my fault it did. If I had stopped my mom from crashing the car and killing herself. If I had stopped my dad from stabbing himself. This would never have happened if I had stopped my parents, if I had stopped myself from leaving. It would never have happened.'' she said. She felt like crying but didnt. She looked at Luke ''Im just a little happy I met you.'' she said. She looked at him. But couldnt smile. She would never find out about her brothers getting married. She would never be walked down the isle with her papa so he could give her away to a guy she loved.

Luke listened to what she had to say, feeling pretty sorry for the poor girl. He would absolutely hate to have his family split up. He didn't say anything in response to the first statement she made about them being apart, just let her tell him whatever she wanted to while he offered her the chance to spill. Then she stopped and he saw her look down at her feet and back up to him before she spoke again. Her next statement pulled at his heart strings and he moved across the room closer to her. He laid an arm on her shoulder and spoke. I bet it wasn't your fault at all, you shouldn't blame yourself for things you can't help. Then she said she was happy to have met him and he responded. I'm happy to have met you too, darlin' He spoke in truthful and reassuring tones, not quite sure what else to do.

She smiled. ''Thanks Luke. It means a lot.'' she said, looking up at him. She smiled, she realized she was just staring into his eyes. She looked to were the other three had gotten to. ''Well, let's get Matt, Kayla and Bethany out here so we can eat.'' she said. Her voice had just a little grief in it. She knew Luke was trying as best he could to help her. It did mean a lot to her what he did. She felt feelings develop for him. Feelings she hadnt felt in a while. She smiled and looked at Luke then started wondering about what he future held for her.

Luke wasn't the best at comforting others since he tended to be a little rough around the edges himself sometimes. Though, it had to count for something that he tried, right? And it seems that it did count for something as she said that what he said meant a lot. He just nodded and now slowly removed his hand from her shoulder as she looked up into his hazel eyes. When she spoke about the others he nodded. They are probably in the backyard with the dogs. I know they sometimes keep them outside when we have company over for meals. I'll go check, you sure you're ok, though? He wanted to make sure she was better before he went to get the others. Once he got the ok he would go call the others inside.

Once the three of them were called back inside, Kayla led the way in. She offered Kristi a comforting smile but other than that they made no mention of the girl's sadness. They didn't want to upset her any more and it was none of their business why she was so upset, they barely knew her after all. They continued eating and joking with each other.

Kristi nodded ''Ill be ok'' she said. She smiled back to Kayla letting her know she would be ok. She started eating. As they joked she laughed every once in a while. She thought for a moment ''My papa always said 'Kristi,hit that ball like your hitting one of your enemies and youll do just fine!' though I never knew what he meant. He said it to just about anyone. I think now I know what he meant by that. Is whatever life gives you hit it back and dont go down without a fight and youll be just fine in life. Just like the saying 'When life gives you lemons you make lemonade.' I think?'' she said laughing a little as she had forgotten the old saying. She, for once, was only focusing on Luke and his family and nothing else.

Luke smiled a bit when she said that she would be ok. He was glad that he could at least help make her feel a little bit better. And he was even more happy that his sisters and Matt didn't make a big deal about how upset Kristi had been. Then when Kristi went on to speak about the saying her dad used to tell her he nodded. That's a good way to look at things, you can't ever give up. He spoke with a good amount of wisdom on the subject, he knew that you could never just give up if you wanted to accomplish anything. The others just nodded and continued to eat, glad with the company of each other and Kristi.

Kristi smiled and then finished what she was eating. She got up and took her plate to the kitchen. She then came back and stood. ''That was good, thanks'' she said. She looked out the window to see a horse out there. ''Guys look. Theres a horse!'' she said. Going to the door she went out. She was soon approaching the horse slowly.

Flower had no idea how she had gotten on the ranch in the first place. She was hungry, her pelt was dirty, she hadnt even been once riden at all. She hadnt had anyone to care for her. She had hoof marks on her side from her father. She had matted down mane and tail. She was walking when she saw a human start to approach her. She baked up. Neighing and kicking her front legs. Kristi stopped and sat on the ground. She looked back where Luke and them were. She didnt know what to do. Flower stopped when she did, looking at her and then up to the house. You could see her ribs and most of her bones.

Soon they were all finished eating and Kayla and Bethany excused themselves to take care of the dishes. Matt began to put away the left over food. Then Luke saw her look out the window and she said there was a horse. He quickly looked out the window to see if one of the girls' horses had gotten out. The horse he saw was a young one that he didn't recognize. He followed Kristi outside and saw her approach the horse who reared up and kicked out. He saw that the horse seemed malnourished and not well cared for and he spoke softly to Kristi. Be right back, don't try to approach her. He knew a lot about wild horses and knew that the best way to win their trust is through food like many animals. He returned with a bucket of feed and shook it, hoping to catch the horse's attention. Then he stood silently, not staring directly at the mare so he wouldn't seem aggressive.

Kristi nodded and stood up backing a little and then standing. She watched Luke come back with a bucket of food. Kristi didnt know that much about wild horses only that if they kicked you could be killed by one impact. She watched the mare closely.

Flower threw her head and neighed at the sight of another human. She backed up more when she saw the bucket she became curious of what it was. She walked forward after he shook the bucket. She sniffed inside. There was oats!! She stuck her nose in it and started eating. She kept her eyes on the man and the girl

Luke saw the mare move forward as he shook the bucket of oats. Immediately she stuck her nose into the bucket and began to eat. He just stood still and held the bucket. He was waiting for her to finish eating and for her to show him a sign that it was ok for him to move forward without scaring her. He was unsure whether she was wild or just escaped somewhere that she was being neglected. Though, she seemed to be semi-calm around people so that was a plus...

Kristi stood by Luke and watched the mare. She then noticed she was pretty calm.

Flower finished and then stuck her nose where Luke's hand was. Looking for more food. She looked up at him and the sniffed around at him. She then looked at Kristi and sniffed her hand. She was looking for food.

Luke saw that the mare had finished all of the feed in the bucket and he knew that she must be very hungry. He motioned for Kristi to follow him and he went into the barn and scooped out some more feed into the bucket. Once she comes into the pen, shut the gate for me, ok? He spoke softly so not to scare the mare. He hated to coop her up if she was wild, but she seemed to be in bad condition. Then he moved to an empty pen and shook the bucket once he was inside the pen. He left the fence open so that she could enter. All he could do now was wait and see if she might take the bait...

Kristi followed. She nodded and followed him and then went to the gate to watch. She was ready to close the gate and then step back and see what happens.

Flower watched them go. Where were they going? She trotted some behind them. She saw the feed. She looked at the fence. She snorted but she was way to hungry to worry about the gate. She went in. She stuck her nose in the feed and started eating. Kristi closed the gate and locked it. Flower looked up and neighed. She ran around the pen and reared up kicking her front hooves. She stopped. Her sides heaved and she stood there. She neighed again and tossed her head

Luke was glad to see that the mare did indeed follow him into the pen in order to get the food. He placed it down on the ground and stepped into the middle of the pen. He had learned a lot about natural horsemanship. Once the mare was finished eating, he saw her lift her head and begin to run around the pen. He stood silently, still... He waited for her to stop and once she did he kept himself so that he was turned partly away from her and didn't look at her. This would appeal to her curiosity and hopefully she would approach him. This would be a big step towards trust. He knew sometimes with some horses this could take days but he hoped that wouldn't be the case with this mare.

Flower looked at him. What was he doing? She started getting curious. She walked towards him. She snorted, trying to get his attention. She walked forward again. She nudged his arm. Searching to see if he had anything. When she didnt find anything. She still nudged him in a playful way. She trotted around him and then stopped. She had some experience with humans. Not much as she had only been though the first year of her life when she did. She looked at him and stood there. Wondering what he would do. Kristi watched. She was hoping nothing happened to him or the horse. She watched as the horse tried to get his attention the first few times. Then she just wanted to play. She sat up on the fence and watched

Luke could tell that the mare had some experience with people since it didn't take her long before she was beside him. He could feel her nudge him playfully and he looked to her now. He stayed calm and unaggressive in his stance as she trotted around him. Then when she moved closer once again he slowly lifted a hand to rub her forehead. If she allowed this then he would move away and over to Kristi so she could see the mare better. If they had a bong created like they should after the practice he had just performed then the mare should follow him.

Flower let him pet her. She then followed him. She moved where she was able to be seen by both of them and she could see Kristi. Kristi looked at her. She got down off the fence. She then reached up and petted her. She patted her neck and looked at Luke ''Think she trusts you enough to give her a bath?'' she asked. She knew the mare would be still. Especially when that dirt and mud were probably making it harder for her to be comfortable around other things. She looked at Luke and then Flower ''First she needs a name'' she said.

Luke looked the mare over, he was glad to see she was showing signs of trust already. And she was now allowing Kristi to pet her as well. He heard Kristi's question and he shrugged. Maybe, it's worth a shot. He would go get the hose and a bucket of soap water in a few minutes, he was going to now but Kristi had spoken before he could go. She said the mare needs a name and he responded. Any suggestions?

Kristi looked at the mare for a few seconds ''How about Flower? Once we get her all cleaned up I bet she'll look like a blooming flower.'' she said. She patted her neck and looked at Luke. Flower wasnt one to jump right at the humans for trust. But this time was different. She had. Cause they seemed nicer than she had excpected. She looked at them not knowing what they were saying.

Hmmm, Flower sounds like a good enough name to me. I think it will suit her well. He spoke in response to her suggestion. Then he excused himself and went to get a bucket of water and the hose. Once he had those he returned and turned the hose on so it would just mist water on the horse at first. He wasn't sure how she would react but he figured it would feel pretty nice to get all of the mud that was caked to her pelt cleaned off.

Kristi smiled and looked at Flower. ''We'll get you all cleaned up and then get you settled'' she said quietly now at Flower's head rubbing her forehead. She looked at Luke as he turned on the hose. She looked at Flower to see her reaction. Flower stood there letting the water get on her. She raised her head and neighed as she stood there. She wanted more water! She ran around and into the water. She then stood and let it get one her.

Luke smiled when the mare seemed to enjoy the water. He then turned the nozzle so that the pressure was a little higher yet still not high enough to cause her any discomfort while still being able to get rid of the mud. He hosed the mare down then grabbed an old rag from the soapy water bucket and began to rub the mare down. If you want there is another rag in there you can start on the other side so we can get her to a stall. It's starting to get late. In honesty, this day had gone by very fast. Soon it would begin to get dark.

Krsti looked at the sky. It was getting late! She would have to be getting somewhere to stay a apartment or something. She nodded and got the other rag from the bucket. She started on the other side and began to rub her down. Flower stood still while they washed her. It felt good for her to be clean again. Once Kristi was finished with cleaning her side she put the rag back in the bucket and looked at Luke smiling. Truthfully she had loved the day she had spent with him.

Luke wasn't in a big hurry. He had no idea that Kristi didn't even have a place to stay yet. He had just assumed she would be staying with one of her brothers. So, the thought of her having to find someplace didn't even cross his mind. He continued to scrub down the mare until she was clean and then he turned the hose back on and sprayed all of the suds off of the mare. I'm going to put her in the boarding stable, since it is empty, until I can get a vet to check her out. I'll have one out first thing in the morning. I'm going to try a halter to lead her... Hopefully she does well. He took a halter he had brought over from the fence post. He held it out to the mare so she could inspect it before trying to put it on her. If she allowed him, he would put the halter on then hook the lead rope to it so he could lead her to the stable.

Kristi nodded and watched the mare. Flower looked at the halter and then at Luke as if to say. 'You excpect me to put that on?'. She then inpected it and let him put it on as she saw it caused no harm. She then looked at him. Kristi smiled a little as she saw Flower's reaction to the halter. She saw the expression on Flowers face. Kristi would bring up not having anywhere to stay when he was done she would probably bring it up in the truck.

Luke was surprised at how easy to handle the mare was, especially if she was wild. He noticed the scars on her side now that led him to believe that she had been into some sort of a fight with horses before. Of course, he had no way of knowing what had happened to cause them so he just hoped she would get along with the mares here. For now, though, he led her to the boarding stable. Wanna hold her for me for a minute, so I can get a stall ready for her? If she would take the rope then he would move to put some bedding down as well as putting a bit more feed and water in the appropriate containers for her. If Kristi wanted to, she could then lead the mare into the stall.

Flower followed him as he led her to the stable. Kristi nodded and held the lead rope in her hand while rubbing Flowers forehead. Kristi talked softly to her making sure she stayed calm. Flower stopped and listened to Kristi she seemed nice didnt she? Flower didnt know. She was clean now and all the weight from the mud and debris was lifted and she felt better. Kristi looked at Luke when he came back. She was still debating on whether to tell him now or in the truck.

Luke was a true cowboy, once the horse had been spotted most of the attention had been transferred to it. That was the way he was, if he had a job to do or an animal who needed him, it got almost all of his attention. That was why their conversation had been lacking since meeting this mare. His mind was busy running over things that he would have to do with her tomorrow. First he would have to call a vet out, then he would have to see how well she would do around the other horses, check to see how she handled the dogs, and the list went on and on. He wasn't complaining, though. That just explained why he was suddenly so quiet. Once the stall was ready he took the lead rope and led the mare off before closing the bottom half of the stall door and then removing the halter. Alright, she is all settled in. You ready to head out? I just have to go tell Matt and the girls we are leaving... He had started towards the house before she could respond, hoping she would follow him and not think him rude. He just didn't want to keep her all day if she had other plans. And she had no choice really but to stay until he was ready to go since she had ridden here with him.

She watched him and then followed him. She went up to the house with him. She was behind him. She didnt say anything til after he did. She was only saying bye and then waiting for Luke. She waited for him. She was waiting til they got outside at least to tell him. She smiled and waited for anyone to say anything

Luke led the way into the house. It was beginning to get dark out and he figured that they had better head out. He knew that Teagan and Tahoe were probably dying for their evening walk and he was debating on just skipping it for the night and just letting them play in the yard for a while, they had run a good way with the horses today, after all. He told everyone they were heading out and Bethany spoke to Kristi. Come back any time! Any friend of Luke's is a friend of ours! There was a friendly smile on her face and Kayla nodded in agreement. Luke then led the way outside and back to the truck. Once they were both in he started it up and began to pull out.

Kristi nodded ''Thanks for everything!'' she said as she headed out the door. She went out to the truck getting in ''Luke, I meant to tell you earlier but I have no place to stay and Im thinking of going to get a apartment or something I dont know yet. I cant really stay with my brother he has company right now and I dont want to barge in on him.'' she said as she looked at him as they pulled out. She was looking at him curious of what he had to say.

Luke steered the truck easily down the narrow dirt road that would take them away from the ranch. Soon after they had pulled out, Kristi had spoken. She said she didn't have anywhere to stay and that she wanted to get an apartment, she couldn't stay with her brother... He paused for a moment before speaking. It's probably too late to go anywhere to get an apartment tonight. So, if you want there is a guest room back at the ranch, you can stay there if you want. He didn't own the ranch, only lived there but he was sure Angelina wouldn't mind. He glanced over to see her reaction, he wouldn't mind if she didn't want to. It was just an offer out of kindness.

She looked at him ''Luke you don-'' she stopped ''That would be great'' she said. She was going to pass the offer up but where would she stay? She didnt know if she had said no. So, she had just stopped herself and said yes. That was what she had done. She would of offered it to anyone she knew if she could. She then looked out the window not talking the rest of the way. She was still wondering if her family would ever get back together. She pushed the thoughts out of her head and looked at the trees pacing by.
