Flame
It was early in the morning when a black pick up truck pulled up the driveway if 19 Speary road. In the very back of the pickup was an australian shepherd, pacing side to side. The male was quiet, moving to and fro, checking the scenery before him. Finally, they came to a halt. Softly Flame yipped and danced, ready to get out of the truck. Where were they? How come they were here? A man stepped out of the truck and snapped a leash onto Flame. Let's go Hotshot. This is your new home. The male jumped down and started dancing about hitting the end of the leash excitedly. He gave a soft bark, trying to get the attention of any other dogs in the area. He was lead to the front porch where the man knocked on the door. Sit. He sat. Patiently, both the man and the dog waited for someone to answer the door.
Kayla Anderson
Kayla had just finished feeding the horses and returned to the house to get her own breakfast. She ate quickly as she waited for the dog she had recently bought to show up. He was due to be here any minute. So, when she heard the dogs all run to the door barking, she knew that must be him now. So, she quickly got up from her chair and walked to the door, where all of the dogs were already barking. She commanded them calmly to hush and they did so and backed up. It was a good thing they had a large entry way because with six dogs at the door it would be relatively hard to get to it otherwise. The only dog that did not back up when she approached the door was Angel, the young Basset Hound.
Kayla opened the door and the dogs stayed back, they knew that she was in charge and she had told them to back off, so they did. Though, they all stood there observing the new canine with curiosity. Hello, I guess this beautiful boy is Flame? She gave the man a warm smile as she knelt down to let the dog sniff her hands and get used to her.
Flame
The mostly white blue merle male yipped happily as he found the other dogs, jumping forward excitedly. Then Kayla was crouching down in front of him. He stopped moving and sniffed her hand before licking it. He was pretty mellow, pretty sweet. The man that was holding his leash offered it to Kayla along with a folder filled with his paper work. Midnight Flame Dancer, Aka Flame. His father is an agility champion out on the east coast and his mother is used for herding. If you have any questions about him, here is Mr. Reynolds card and he would like to congratulate you on your purchase. Very formal, very abrupt. And then the man was walking down the stairs leaving the pretty boy for Kayla.

Kayla smiled as the canine who was standing on her porch sniffed and licked her hand. At this time she was handed the leash and the man spoke to her about the canine. She nodded to him and took the card as it was handed to her. She then walked outside with the dog and spoke to the dogs. Ok, out. This was the cue that the dogs had been waiting for. They all bounded out the door to where the new dog was. All of them were very friendly and excited to see the new dog. Kayla waited until the truck pulled out and she unhooked the leash of the Aussie so that he could get to know the rest of the dogs. Angel, the Basset hound jumped at the new dog trying to lick his chin as the others sniffed him, only Reba hung back...
