Kayla, and Bethany Anderson

Matt walked into the stable where they kept the stallions. They were supposed to have a couple of people coming to look at some of their younger horses today that included two of their two year old colts. He wanted to get Volt and Amor all groomed and ready. Both had beautiful colors and patterns that he wanted to make sure were shown off. He groomed the two of them rather quickly while Kayla and Bethany took care of Heidi and Alou. It took them no time before they were all ready and the siblings met back outside of the stable after returning all of the horses to their stalls. They waited then for their potential buyers to show up…

Abigail & Rasui Noral

Abigail liked the looks of the ranch as she drove up to the ranch with her brother. Connected to the truck is a trailer that could hold six horses. Getting out of the truck she looked to the three people standing nearby.

Rasui followed her to the group standing nearby. My name is Rasui and this is my sister, Abigail.

Abigail took this moment to speak up. I run the halfway house that just opened up. I'm hoping to get some horses for guests to ride. They both held out their hands to shake in greeting.

Matt, Kayla, and Bethany Anderson

Matt was the first to see the vehicle pulling up the drive with the trailer behind. Then they were all alerted by the barking of dogs as they ran to see who was coming up the drive. Most of the canines were allowed to roam free on the property, since they didn't stray. Only a few were kept in a large pen so that they couldn't run off if they would. The canines all wagged their tails in greeting as the two got out of the truck and approached the three. Matt shook both of their hands firmly as the others spoke.

Bethany was the youngest of the three here. She smiled as the two approached, showing her straight white teeth. When the two offered their hands in greeting, she shook them without hesitation. I'm Bethany and this is my sister Kayla and my brother Matt.

Kayla also smiled, shaking the others' hands. After Bethany had introduced them all, she spoke as well. You ready to have a look at the horses?

Abigail & Rasui Noral

Rasui liked dogs and found himself watching the ones that ran up with interest before his attention went back to his sister and the strangers. First the guy shook their hand, who was introduced as Matt, then Bethany took her turn while introducing them, and finally Kayla who asked if they wanted to see the horses.

Yes, please. Abigail answered her with a smile, it was obvious that she was excited.

Matt, Kayla, and Bethany Anderson

After asking about whether they were ready to see the horses Kayla was glad to hear the excitement in the voice of the woman as she agreed. It was nice to find someone who seemed as interested in the animals as they all were. So, she spoke once more. Ok, follow me. We'll go see the mares first. With that she turned and headed into the mare barn.

Bethany smiled as she moved along into the barn. Soon, they reached the stall of the smoky blue roan mare. She spoke about the mare. This is Clover Fields Alouette. We have been calling her Alou. She is 100% Quarter Horse out of our mare Enchantment and by our stallion Dragon.

Matt had also followed the group into the barn. After the introduction was given of the mare he spoke as well. If you are interested we can also show you the parents, since we have them all here at the ranch.

Abigail & Rasui Noral

The twenty two year old twins followed after the siblings who owned the ranch. Abigails’ golden blond hair was pulled up in a high ponytail and the hanging braided end moved in the light summer breeze. Blue eyes looked to Alouette as they stopped at her stall and Bethany introduced her. Abby made to stroke her muzzle as she studied the horse‘s physique and such. She’s beautiful. A smile came to her face when Matt asked if they wanted to see the parents. If it isn’t too much trouble? It was obvious the lady had a love for animals.

Rasui looked to his sibling with his green eyes, knowing that they were taking some horses home today. He ran a hand through his golden blond hair as he tried to think of how much they could afford to spin. A smile was on his face as he spoke. Excuse me. How much are you selling Alou for?He asked Bethany and Kayla. He looked to where Abby was confirming that they wanted to see the parents before looking back to the two woman.

Matt, Kayla, and Bethany Anderson

Kayla smiled as the two looked over the young mare. She loved to show off the horses that they had produced. Back home there were not many breeders that were as young as the three of them were. Of course, their parents had been in the horse business as well, and they had taught all of their children everything they knew. At the mention of the mare’s beauty she nodded. Yes, she is.

After a moment, when the woman had asked to see the parents if it wasn’t too much trouble it was Bethany who moved to the next stall. This is her mother, all of our stallions are in the next barn so we will have to show you those when we get done in here. She indicated the blue roan mare as the mother then moved to the next stall which held a Palomino roan mare. This is Alou’s sister. She is not for sale. She had just wanted to show them some more of their line so that they could get a feel for what they had to offer.

Matt listened to the words that the man spoke and he thought for a moment. They had said that they ran a halfway house and that the horses would be going there to help with rehabilitation of those there, so he wanted to cut them a deal. Well, how does $1000 sound? With her bloodlines and rare coloration they could easily get much more out of her but none of them were in the business for the money and would love to be able to help people out when possible.

Abigail & Rasui Noral

Abigail glanced to Kayla when she agreed with her statement of the young horse being a beauty. She followed after Bethany as the other woman said the horse in the next stall was the mother. There was no question about this mare being in good physique too. Before she could comment on the mother, Bethany had moved down another stall and said that Alou’s sister was in there. Abby moved to look at this horse too even though the owner said she wasn’t for sale. The Palomino roan had a beautiful coat. I would like to take Alou for sure. This was said after her and her sibling exchanged a look. Are there any more mares for sale?

Rasui found himself looking over the horses now and then but he left the decision up to his sibling. When Matt asked if one thousand sounded good, his eyes widened briefly. That was less then what he was expecting. He couldn’t help but smile a little, figuring they were just being nice. Sounds great.

Matt, Kayla, and Bethany Anderson

Kayla heard the woman’s question about whether there were any more mares for sale and she nodded. They had one other mare for sale. She then motioned for them to follow her and she stopped at the stall of a slightly taller bay mare. This is Clover Fields’ Hidden Assets, her barn name is Heidi. She is also for sale. Her mother is Grace, the gray mare over there. Her father is our stud Confidential.

Bethany was glad to hear that the woman definitely wanted to take Alou home with her. She was sure that the mare would find a good home there. After Kayla had introduced Heidi, she waited for a while to allow the woman and man to look over the bay mare before she spoke. That is the last of the mares, then we have two stallions for sale as well if you would be interested in seeing them they are in the next barn.

Matt smiled as the man agreed that the price was good. He had assumed it would be since it was much less then they could sell such a horse for. After the man agreed Matt spoke up once more. We are just glad to help out a cause like yours, it takes good people to devote their lives to helping others like y’all have. He was thinking of volunteering to help out if they needed it, but that would wait until their business was done.

Abigail & Rasui

Abby followed after Kayla as she introduced another mare by the name Hidden Assets. She was a pretty bay and she stretched her hand out to stroke the mare's face. Heidi. She spoke the mares name with a smile, falling in love with her instantly. Her gaze only broke away to look to the mother. Hearing Bethany say they had stallions too had her grin. We'd love to. The woman spoke for herself and her twin.

Rasui took his attention from Abby when the man started to talk about the Halfway House. Thank you, but it's all Abby over there. She came up with the idea, got the money to run it, and the stubborness to help the people....She wanted to help people that had gone down the same path she had. He said, explaining how they came to own the place. Abigail would accept any volunteer work.
