Paige, Brook & Jenna Walker

Summer would be coming to a close soon enough. It had been a lazy season for the girls; three sisters who, although quite close, were often kept apart due to circumstances of daily life. When they could stand each other, they would do lots of activities together. However, since Paige had 'grown up too much' according to Jenna, the trio didn't seem to do much together anymore. Today was a chance for them to head out once more, and so they did graciously.

Their travels brought them back to the ranch owned by their friends, the Andersons. With the three packed into Paige's small car, it didn't seem long before they were pulling onto the dirt road that lead to their destination. Soon enough, the pastures and buildings came into view, and then the horses, which caught Brook and Jenna's attention. "We're almost there!" Jenna exclaimed, as she peered out the window.

Finally they made it to the house and came to a halt. The twins barely waited for the vehicle to stop before they were opening the doors, much to Paige's displeasure. However, each of them were making their way to the house, Brook and Jenna turning it into a competition of who could get there faster. Jenna won, and claimed the doorbell as her prize, pressing it repeatedly and then waiting quietly for someone to show.

Kayla, Bethany, and Matt Anderson

Kayla and Bethany were inside the house, having just finished their morning chores of making sure that each of the horses were fed and their water troughs filled. Now they were making sure that all of the dogs had their breakfast. Soon after the dogs had finished eating, Reba began to bark on the porch as the vehicle pulled up the drive. That caused a chorus of barking to start. The dogs in the house all ran to the door barking like mad. Kayla moved to the window to look and see who was out there. Seeing the Walkers, she smiled and opened the door. All of the dogs flooded out to greet their friends, including the two litter of pups that were now a couple of months old. Kayla and Bethany followed them outside with a smile on their faces.

Hey! We haven't seen y'all in forever!

Kayla spoke in good natured friendly tones to the three. Matt was now coming towards the house from turning the horses out. He waved to the three as he walked up.
