Tori
Tori walked by Leila so intent on getting to her new home. Her tail wagged behind her and she panted in the cold of the day. She hopped around sensing they were getting closer to her new home every step they took. She walked by her and looked around. She sniffed the air and looked up at Leila. She came to the door and wagged her tail.

Leila walked along the path that she knew would take her home. She was glad that Tori seemed to have already been taught to walk well on a leash. Only now she hoped that she could soon form a strong enough bond with the dog to be able to walk her without a leash. Though, she didn't want to chance that until she was sure that Tori wouldn't run. As they reached the house, she could hear the dogs barking inside. They had taken Briar and Daisy back to the house before going to the pound. Once she opened the door, Briar and Daisy both bounced outside to meet the new dog while the others all hung back, knowing better than to go out the front door unless they were told it was ok. Briar and Daisy both wiggled with excitement as they sniffed the new dog. Leila smiled as she watched how Tori would react.
Tori
Tori wagged her tail, making her whole body wiggle. She sniffed the other two dogs and barked with excitement, she looked up at Leila and sat. But couldn't keep still she barked to the other two dogs and wagged her tail again. She had been in the pound for 9 weeks and the hard stone floors definitely weren't that good. Though she had gotten used to it and her body was more tough then before she went. She could be sure that she could take a hard impact and not be hurt. She wagged her tail and panted before getting distracted by the dogs inside, she started trying to go over and greet but hung back near Leila til she said it was ok. Until then she greeted the other two.

Leila watched how Tori interacted with her other two Border Collies before she allowed the other dogs to come outside. She then patted her thigh to let the other dogs know it was ok to come out. All of the dogs came out and sniffed at the new dog, offering their friendly greetings. Leila was glad to see that they all seemed to get along.
Tori
Tori wagged her tail and looked at Leila as she patted her leg and then looked at the other dogs. She wagged her tail and greeting them.

Leila watched for a moment to make sure they would all get along before she moved into the house. She called all of the dogs in, since there wasn't a doggy door on the front door, only the back. All of her sisters' dogs, Briar, and Daisy went inside. Leila waited for Tori. Once Tori followed she shut the front door. She looked at the clock on her phone, Daniel should have been calling soon. That is what he had said anyway. It had taken them quite some time to make it home, after all.
Daniel Vincent & Tori
Tori followed, her fur bouncing as she padded in. She sniffed around and found a place to plop down in front of the couch and close her eyes. She closed her eyes and let her tail stop wagging and just lay still.
Daniel walked up and down the hall of the pound before pulling his phone out. He dialed the number Leila had given him. He put it up to his ear and waited for her to answer.

Leila sat down on the couch with Briar and Daisy both jumping up beside her and she watched as Tori lay down in front of it on the floor. She leaned down to pet her new pet then her phone began to ring. It played a country song until she answered it. Hello? She didn't recognize the number, after all she had only given Daniel her number and hadn't written down his. So now she waited for the person on the other end to respond.
Daniel Vincent & Tori
Leila? Its me, Daniel. Is it a good time for me to come check out your house and Tori? He answered Leila's question. Tori lifted her head when she herd her name through the phone. She let out a bark of happiness.

Leila listened for a response through the phone, and almost immediately one came. She heard Daniel's voice. He asked if now was a good time to come check out the house and Tori. She nodded, though she knew he couldn't see the gesture as she spoke. Yeah, any time will be fine with me. She smiled as Tori heard her name and stood up, barking happily. Leila leaned down to pet the dog as she waited for Daniel to confirm that he was indeed on his way.
Tori & Daniel Vincent
Daniel smiled. Alright, Im on my way. Be there in 20 Tori wagged her tail. When she herd his voice and 'my way' she knew he was coming. She padded over to the door and looked up at it. Sitting a little ways away. Sure enough in 20 minutes Daniel was there. The doorbell rang and Tori got up and barked. Her tail wagging fiercely she waited patiently where she was barking one after the other telling Leila to get up and answer it. She didnt go near the door though, she stayed back where she was and looked from the door to Leila, barking. While Daniel waited her could hear Tori and chuckled. Daniel had gone home and changed from his wet clothes. Now he had on his tight jeans and a muscle shirt.

Leila went about watching TV with the dogs while she waited for Daniel to show up. Then before she heard the knock on the door, all three dogs were barking as well as her sisters' and brother's dogs that were in the back yard. She immediately got up and walked to the door. Opening it she saw Daniel and she smiled. Hi, again! Come on in! Then she moved from in front of the door to let him pass before shutting the door behind them. You can sit if you want... Would you like something to drink or something? Sure, she knew he was mainly here to check on Tori, but her mama had raised her right in the hospitality department.
