Lightning Gun Jasmine, Running Rivers Hulia, Running Rivers Rekon, Thunder Running Wind
Jasmine was outside in her pasture with Hulia. The grass had browned and there was some snow here and there. The sky however today was clear and sunny and in the upper fourty's . Jasmine snorted as she pawed at thhe pile of hay before munching on it. Her ears twitching as she listened to everyone and everything. Her tail flicked out.
Hulia had had her fill fo hay for the time being and was currently nickering and running up and down the fencing near the gate. Today she was in season and well she saw the stallions a few pastures so it was like the paint mare was taunting them.
Rekon was of course in his own pasture being a stallion. His nostrils were flaring as he had his head over the fence in an empty pasture that was between his and the girls. His upper lip lifted as he tasted the air and he whickered. Like any stallion he was quiet aroused and was now trying to figure a way over to her.
Thunder could hear the ruckus and he knew why. But he was older and he knew there was no getting to her so he just grazed on his hay occassionally testing te air.
Flower
Flower was now being put in an empty pasture between two stallions and two mares. She snorted and threw her head up as she was let in. She stayed to the side more to the stallions but not by the fence. She grazed a little bit over three yards away from the fence. She flicked her tail and snorted. She raised her head and neighed. She wanted to be out now. She wasnt even used to pastures and all. She had just got here a few weeks ago and was washed clean and fed and also had a vet. She threw her head back and snorted.
Kayla and Bethany Anderson
Kayla had begun to take the mares out to the pastures, the largest one was the one that they already had Jasmine and Hulia in. They had decided to put a few more of the mares into the pasture with them, mares that they seemed to get along well with. Kayla led out Grace, Aspen, and Elegance in turn. They were placed into the pasture.
Bethany had chosen a couple of their older mares to put in with Flower. They had yet to see how she would do with other horses so they would put the older and more tolerant mares with her to start with. She had chosen Lullaby, Doll, and Spark.
Grace, Aspen, and Elegance all just began to graze once they were inside the pasture.
Lullaby nickered as she looked over to the stallions in the pasture a few away. She often tempted them from the other pastures. She was one of the few mares here that had yet to be bred this year since she was one of the newer mares. Spark approached the newest mare, Flower. She nickered a greeting. Doll followed behind Spark and nudged her playfully. Spark was her mother and even though she was two, she was still quite attached.
Jasmine & hulia
Jasmine lifted her head up and watched the two humans She snorted and went back to her hay. If grace or any of the others did try to take her pile she would nip and kick at them.
Hulia saw the other mares and decided to try to get them to play and she nipped playfully at Grace as she ran by.
Rekon lifted his head up as he watched Lullaby and he whinnied and bucked as he now moved to the fencing and snorte.d
Flower
Flower neighed a greeting. She lowered her head and continued to eat. She then looked to where the stallion bucked. She neighed high pitched as if telling him to Shut Up! She reared up and trotted around in a circle. She was not afraid to rear up and kick one of the stallions. She had been beat by her father and wasnt going to let that happen again. The 2 year old mustang thorough bred neighed high pitched again. She looked at Spark and Doll she neighed ''Sorry.'' To them. She continued grazing.
Kayla and Bethany Anderson
Kayla and Bethany stood back, making sure the horses were going to get along with Flower.
Elegance, Grace, and Aspen all stayed clear of Jasmine, knowing that she could be a little touchy. Though when Hulia nipped playfully at Grace, the grey Quarter Horse mare tossed her head and nipped back at the other mare. She was doing thus in a playful manner, though. Aspen bucked a few times and then raced around the paddock to release some energy while Elegance watched the others with little interest.
Lullaby stuck her head over the fence that led to the empty pasture between herself and the stallion. She nickered to him. Spark and Doll just watched the new mare as she trotted around and neighed at the stallion a pasture away. Then the new mare came back to them and nickered at them and Spark went back to grazing while Doll nipped her mother playfully, trying to get her to play.
Jasmine
Jasmine's ears twitched every now and then and occasionally she lifted her head up to observe the others.
Hulia snorted and bucked as she ran around with Grace.
Rekon ignored flower as he studied Lullaby and then the fence and he chewed on the fence before backing up. His nostrils flared and then he ran and leaped clear over the fence and trotted over to the fence seperating them to. His ears pricked forward as he sniffed at her.
